I woke up to Nico sobbing. I quickly ran to his room in the infirmary, and tried to calm him down.

He opened his eyes and looked at me. "Thank you," he said.

"Your welcome death boy."

He smiled. His smile was amazing.

"You should smile more often," I told him.

He blushed. "You're blushing," I teased.

"I do not blush," he said with his cheeks getting redder.

"You are. Do you want to talk about what happened last night?"

"I guess. Last time I did, it made me feel better."

That brought a smile to my face. I make him feel better.

He took a deep breath, "My closest friends and family were saying insults to me."

"Whatever they said, it wasn't true," I reassured.

"No, they were," Nico said, tears now streaming down his face.

"Can you give me an example? Then I can see if they are real or not."

"Bianca said, 'You weren't there. You could have saved me. Instead you trusted Percy, and now I'm dead.'"

"That is not true! You couldn't have saved her, you were here!"

"It was true. I trusted Percy! I trusted him because I thought he was so cool! I mean, who could break me out of that school with a monster trying to take us? I trusted him, and it's my fault Bianca's not here. I should just leave Camp Half Blood to prevent more deaths! If I wasn't here, then I could have saved her! You said so."

Nico walked out of the room. I tried to walk after him, but he shadow traveled. How could he do that?! He could get himself killed!

I ran out of the infirmary to search for him, but no luck. Why did I have to phrase my words like that? It's my fault he's gone, and I need to get him back.
