We have to go on the quest. I have a suspicion about how we will fall to the place where one of us has already gone. Tartarus. I hope it's not that, because one of us will have to stay. I can't imagine leaving Will in the Tartarus.
Will and I left to grab our stuff. I bumped into Jason on the way out.
"Hey Nico, we were just about to leave," Jason said.
"Oh, bye Jason," I replied.
"So you got a prophecy. Can I hear it?" Jason asked.
I told it to him.
"One of you won't come out of that place," Jason said.
He hugged me. I didn't push away.
Piper honked the car.
"I have to go," Jason said sadly.
"Bye Jason," I said again.
"Bye Nico."
Jason ran off to the car.
I stood there and watched him drive off. Then I felt a hand on my shoulder.
"Hey Sunshine," I said.
"Hey death boy," Will replied. "Ready to do the quest?"
"Yep."
I took his hand and shadow traveled to the entrance of the underworld.
"Hey! No more underworldy magic! I thought we were going to drive here," Will complained.
We walked into the underworld.
"First line, complete," Will said.
I walked close with Will. I would never admit this to him, but I'm terrified. I'm terrified of the line where one of us will not come out. I didn't want to leave Will.
I guess tears started streaming down my face just thinking about it.
"It's okay Nico," Will comforted me. I squeezed his hand.
We walked to the throne room, where Hades was.
"Hey, dad. Do you know where a Violet Shenert is?" I asked.
"Yes, I know. Why do you ask?" Hades said.
"We got sent on a quest by Zeus, and we need to get her back," I replied.
"I'm not helping Zeus! Why would I help that old-"
I'm not going to repeat what he just said. 50 year old's are to young to hear what he just said.
"Okay, okay, I get it," I said. "Just if we don't do this, he will keep me separated from all of my friends for life," I said.
"Oh. Well, haven't I helped you enough? Dad, there is a hellhound attacking me, Dad I need you to bring my boyfriend back to life. It get's annoying. You can do this on your own."
He waved his hand, indicating us to walk away.
"That was a bad visit with your dad," Will said.
"Yes it was. Now let's go find a Violate."
