Piper walked up to me at the campfire. "Jason, I'm sorry but I just don't love you any more. I'm lesbian," she said. I nodded. "I'm sorry," she repeated.
I wiped the tears from my face. "I understand."
I walked away, and sat down alone. Nico and Will saw me, and sat down next to me.
"So, why are you upset?" Will asked.
"Piper just dumped me," I replied, blandly.
"Jason, I know it hurts more than what you're saying it is," Nico said.
I turned away. Bianca saw what was happening and walked over here.
"What's the matter?" She asked.
"Piper dumped him," Nico explained.
"I am so sorry Jason. What can I do to help?"
"Can I sit alone?" I asked. They nodded, and went back to where they were sitting before.
I listened to the songs, but after that, I went back to my cabin to try to sleep.
Later that night, I heard a knock at my cabin's door.
"Come in," I called.
Percy and Nico were standing there. "A bro's sleep over party!" Percy exclaimed.
I laughed. They got settled into my cabin, and Percy pulled out candy land.
"Isn't that a little kids game?" I asked.
"No, it's a all ages game. See? For 3 and up. We are above 3 so we can play," Percy explained.
I smiled. We played candy land for a little while, then fell asleep. Best bro's night ever.
