Chapter 40: Nico

We walked out, and I tried to shadow travel with Percy, Annabeth, and Jason. Nothing happened. 

I groaned. "What's the problem?" Jason asked.

"Aphrodite is probably messing with me now. Why does she have to make my love life 'interesting?'" I asked.

"Well, you and Will are the cutest couple ever," Percy said.

"What about us?" Annabeth asked.

"Well, yeah. But we're talking about solangelo here. It's a tie," Percy argued.

We decided to walk. My legs were already tired. But we walked. 

Eventually, we got out of California. I was exhausted. I wish I brought some money.

Percy groaned. "That's it. I'm going to steal a car."

He walked up to the road, and stopped the next car that came. He kicked the very confused old lady out, and motioned for us to get in. The old lady was already calling the police.

We drove for hours. I got Jules albert to drive so the rest of us could sleep. 

Later, I was woken up by police sirens. I shook Percy awake. "Police," I said.

He woke up Annabeth and Jason, and I dismissed Jules albert.

We jumped out of the car, and ran into the woods. The officer started to shout at us, but we had a head start. He didn't run after us.

We repeated that prosses about 60 times over the next few days. We were probably wanted criminals by now.

Eventually, we got to New York. I could only think about Will. I would get to see his smiling face soon, his freckles, his blond hair, and those beautiful blue eyes. I would get to fell his lips pressing mine, hear him fussing over my health. I missed Will Solace. 

Then, I reminded myself that Bianca would be there also. I would see her again. I missed her long brown hair and brown eyes.

Once we finally got to the entrance of camp half blood, I took a deep breath. I hadn't seen Will or Bianca in over a week. I was smelly, my cloths were tattered, and I had bags under my eyes. 

We walked into camp, and I ran over to the Apollo cabin. Percy just laughed. I knocked on the door, and it immediately swung open. Kayla was standing there. Once she saw it was me, she had a huge smile on her face.

"Oh, Will!" She called.

"Yeah?" A voice called from inside the cabin. 

"Someone is here for you," Kayla called.

"Tell them I'll talk to them later. I got a big lead on where Nico is."

"They have a lead that will help you even more."

I heard foot steps. Will was running.

"Yeah? What's their lead?" He demanded, his wavy blond hair a mess, and bags under his eyes. But his beautiful blue eyes were perfect, even thought there was a hint of sadness in them. 

Then he saw me. Tears started to form in his beautiful eyes. "Nico, is it really you?" He asked in disbelief.

I answered him by pressing my lips to him. After a few seconds, Kayla said, "I'll just be going now."

Will stared into my eyes, then pulling me into another kiss.

I missed Will so much. How could I live without him?
