Chapter 39: Will

I walked with Bianca to camp half blood. We finally found the exit to the underworld.

There was no monsters for about 2 hours. Then, a small cyclops attacked.

We were just walking when I turned around to see it. It looked almost like a 12 year old, just bigger and it only had one eye. It charged at us.

 I pushed Bianca out of the way. "No, Nico said that I'm supposed to protect you. Not the other way around," Bianca said, then pushed me out of the way.

I watched as she took out her bow and arrow, and shot at the cyclops. She was way better than me at shooting. 

Once she killed it, we walked on. We found a bus stop, and bought tickets, even though we didn't have much money.

We rode the bus as far as we could go with the money. Not far. But it did save us some time.

After walking for even longer, I got an idea. "Hey, Bianca, can you shadow travel?"

"What's that?" She asked.

I explained to her what shadow travel was. "I've never tried," she said.

Then she grabbed my hand and took us into the shadows. We ended up right at the entrance of camp half blood. Bianca was unconsious.

"Bianca, you were only supposed to do part of the way," I complained. 

I grabbed her, and carried her to the infirmary. 

After setting up, I asked the campers if Nico was here. They said no.  

Nico would shadow travel here. He's shadow traveled longer distances before. He should be here.

I waited. I waited for Nico to come, for Bianca to wake up. None of those things happened. I was worried.

What was happening?
