Chapter 11: Will

After my date with Nico, I went to check on the other patients. After I bandaged up a kid from the Ares cabin, I heard screams. Coming from Nico's room.

I rushed to his cabin, running as fast as I could.

Bursting in, I saw that he was having another nightmare.

He was shaking. Sweat was flowing down his face.

I took him in my arms, and squeezed him lightly so he could know I'm there.

He relaxed a little bit, then stopped shaking. 

"Will?" He asked hoarsely. 

"I'm hear," I said.

He cuddled up in my arm and went back to sleep.

I eventually went to sleep with him.

In the morning, Kayla was standing in the doorway. 

"Hi," she said.

"Um, hi," I replied. "I guess I fell asleep hear."

"You fell asleep with your boyfriend in your arms. Explain that."

"He was having a nightmare. I was comforting him."

"Okay, I'll pretend I believe that," she said then left. 

Nico started to stir. 

"Hey," I said.

"Why am I in your arms?" he asked.

"Nightmares," I told him.

He closed his eyes, taking in a ragged breath.

"Hey Nico, the nightmares aren't real," I said.

"They are real. They actually happened," He said.

"What happened?"

"I saw Bianca die."

"But I thought you weren't there when she died."

"I wasn't."

"Do you want to compare your dream to what actually happened. I can get Percy."

"What would that do?"

"We could determine if  someone is making you have these nightmares. And it might make you feel better."

"Let's get Percy," he sighed.

We walked over to the Poseidon cabin. Percy was outside, squealing with Jason.

"Hey, Percy!" I yelled. 

"What?!" He yelled back.

"We need your help!" I said.

Percy jogged over. "You're holding hands!" He said excitedly.

"Yes, we are. Nico's been having nightmares about when Bianca died. He said it felt real, so can you tell us what happened exactly?"

 "Okay," he said sadly. He explained what happened.

Nico gasped. "That's exactly what happened in my dream."

"Somethings happening," Percy said.

"Definitely," I said. 

We walked over to the Morpheus cabin.

"Yes," A boy answered as soon as we knocked. "Oh, Nico di Angelo," He said as soon as he looked at Nico.

"Yeah?" Nico asked.

"You have the most nightmares in the whole camp. We have reasons to believe that someone's been giving you them."

"We already figured that out," Nico grumbled. "That's why we're here."

The boy looked surprised. "The Hypnos cabin can allow people to enter the dreams. Your friends could go in and catch whoever is doing this. The dreamer can not see them, but others can. It would be a god, not any sleep gods. Probably Ares."

"But what would Ares hate me enough to go through all this work?"

"Maybe a minor God or Goddess could be working to do this."

"Thanks," I said.

We walked away. "So tonight we can stop whoever is doing this," Percy said.

We walked over to the Hypnos cabin and asked for a favor. When we explained what we wanted them to do, they agreed.

"That's easy stuff,"  one boy said. "Go enjoy your day, and come back at night."

I went to archery practice with my cabin, and Nico and Percy went off to do what their cabins were signed up.

Tonight we would stop Nico's nightmares for good. I smiled at that thought.
