Chapter 15: Nico

Will was dead. I had to get him back. 

Jason leaned down to hug me. Wills head was still in my lap. The rest was a blur. I guess I eventually got up and walked to my cabin. Jason had walked with me. 

After a few minutes Jason, Piper, Percy, Annabeth, Hazel, and Frank were all in my cabin with me. 

"Oh, Nico," Hazel said. I knew she could feel that he passed into the underworld. 

They all took turns hugging me. I wasn't really in the moment. I could only think about Will.

"Do you want to talk about him?" Annabeth asked. 

I shook my head.

"It might make you feel better."

I shook my head again.

"Ooo! I have an idea!" Jason said, then ran out of my cabin.

He came back a couple minutes later, with a photo. A photo of Will.

I couldn't look at it any longer. I turned my head away from it. 

"Sorry," Jason said.

"It's fine," I said a little harsher than I meant.

"Nico," Annabeth said. "I know you're upset. Is there anything we can do to help you?"

"If you can raise the dead, that would be helpful," I told her.

Hazel looked like she had an idea. "You got me back from the dead. Maybe you can ask Hades to bring him back."

I shadow traveled to the entrance of the underworld, leaving my friends behind with a surprised look on their face. 

I marched into the throne room. It brought back memories of when Will and I were here. I was on the verge of crying when Hades walked in. 

"Nico. It seems like your boyfriend is here. Would you like him back."

"Yes. Please, let me have him back. I can't live without him."

Hades walked into Asphodel. After a few minutes, he walked back with Will.

I ran up to Will and kissed him. The whole world could see and I wouldn't care. Will's lips were on mine. That's all that mattered now.

Hades cleared his thought. "I better get going," he said, then walked away.

I shadow traveled us back to camp half blood. 

"I told you, no more underworldy magic. You're going to kill yourself," Will scolded. 

I laughed. "I missed you too."

"I missed you so much. When I realized that I had to drink from the river of Lethe and forget about you, I knew I couldn't do that. I would miss you too much."

"We have to tell the others. And I am going to hug Hazel so tight. She gave me the idea to rescue you."

We walked over to where I last saw them. They were still in my cabin. When I walked in with Will, they smiled. 

"Well, it looks like your boyfriend is back. We'll leave you guys alone," Piper said.

They left, and Will and I talked for hours. I never wanted to leave. Eventually, it was time for bed. The Romans were leaving in the morning. Will and I slept together. Hazel came in at some point. I was just glad I had my sunshine back.
