Chapter 25: Will

"Ti amo, Will," Nico said. "Qualunque cosa accada, la farò con te."

I had no idea what that meant. I'll ask later.

We walked into the throne room. Zeus was sitting on his throne. Any confidence I had was now gone.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY THRONE ROOM?" Zeus yelled.

Nico decided to speak and I was glad because a I don't think I would be able to speak after that loud voice. "You have been causing me pain and suffering. I would like if you made it stop."

"OH, IF IT ISN'T NICO DI ANGELO. WHY WOULD I DO THAT?"

"You have already caused me enough pain, and it is unnecessary. I understand that your friend died, but my father won't just bring him back to life. If-"

"IT SEEMS THAT YOUR BOYFRIEND IS ALIVE AND WELL RIGHT NOW. WHY CAN'T HADES BRING MY FRIEND BACK TO LIFE, WHEN HE BROUGHT YOURS BACK TO LIFE? I'LL GIVE YOU 1 DAY TO RETRIVE VIOLATE SHENERT BACK FROM THE UNDERWORLD. IF YOU DON'T, YOU'LL NEVER BE ABLE TO SEE YOUR BOYFRIEND AGAIN. NOW GO!"

He pushed us out with his wind. 

"Well, it looks like we have another quest," I said.

"I'll try to shadow travel us back to camp," Nico told me.

He grabbed my hand and jumped into the shadows. 

Once we got at camp Half blood, we went to Chiron. 

"We now have to go on a quest for Zeus," Nico said. 

I explained what had happened. 

"Yes, you should go on a quest right away. Zeus made it clear that only you guys would go, so you guys can go up to Rachel," Chiron said. 

We walked to Rachel's cave. She was in there painting.

"Rachel?" Nico asked. 

She turned around her eyes glowing. 

"You will forge to the place where the sun does not shine.

You will retrieve the girl.

But you will fall to the place where one of you has already gone.

Only one of you will make it out.

And the other is lost, not to be found."

Her eyes returned to normal. "Hey guys. What's with the sad faces. Oh, I gave you a prophecy, didn't I." 

We nodded. 

"Go see Chiron then. I haven't been giving prophecy's in about a week. It's like I'm cut off. I think that's the last one I'm giving for a little while," she said.

We ran off to Chiron. 

"So, you got your prophecy. Can you tell it to me?" Chiron asked.

"You will forge to the place where the sun does not shine. 

You will retrieve the girl.

But you will fall to the place where one of you has already gone.

Only one of you will make it out.

And the other is lost, not to be found," Nico said.

"Where the sun does not shine means the underworld," I said.

"And we will retrieve the girl. That means the quest is successful," Nico added. 

"But what does it mean that we will fall to the place where one of us has already gone?" I asked.

"I'll leave it to you guys to figure out," Chiron said, then galloped off.

"I don't like the part about one of us will not make it out and will not be found," Nico said.

"Me neither," I said. "Let's do it anyway?" 

 "Let's do it anyway."
