It's been a week since Nico disappeared.
I had ran to the infirmary after Kayla told me I was 20 minutes late.
After an hour, I came back to no Nico in his cabin. There was a note on his bed. It said:
Hey sunshine!
I got bored so I'm taking a walk. See you soon.
From, death boy.
5 hours later, no Nico.
I told Chiron.
"If he doesn't come back in a hour, we can start looking for him," Chiron responded.
I waited a hour. No Nico.
After that hour was over, I told Percy, Annabeth, Jason, and Piper. Jason and Piper were just about to leave.
We searched the camp. No Nico.
We went into the woods.
We searched and searched in the woods. No Nico.
It was almost midnight when Chiron told us to go to bed.
The rest of the days were like that. No sign of Nico.
Then, at the end of the week, the news came in. I didn't care for it.
Then Percy started pounding at the Apollo cabin's door.
"What?" I asked.
"Have you looked at the news?"
"No."
"Well, look at it!"
I looked. On the inside, the headline was, Homeless Person Walks into Louisville From the Woods. And the picture showed Nico! What was he doing in Kentucky?
