Nico shadow traveled into the jar, grabbed Annabeth, then shadow traveled out of there. He ended up right next to me, unconscious. Annabeth was right next to him, confused.
"What happened?" She asked.
"What's the last thing you remember?" Percy asked worried.
"The science teacher turning into a monster."
Percy gasped. "So, you don't remember that you died?"
"I what?"
"You died. Battling the monster. He snuck up behind you. and-" Percy paused.
"You don't have to tell me anymore, Percy," Annabeth said. She looked down at Nico. "Is Nico okay?"
I checked for a heart beat. There was one. "He'll be fine. He's just unconscious."
Annabeth sighed in relief. But Percy had a worried look on his face. "How are we supposed to get out of here now that Nico can't shadow travel?" He asked.
"I guess we walk," I replied. I threw Nico over my shoulder. "Let's go."
