Deva awkwardly sat there, holding the teddy bear to her chest as Jake was playing a game on his phone.

How can he be so normal after he just kissed me like that?

Jake noticed her stare and looked up at her.

He suddenly looked down at her wrist, making her look at the same place.

"I like those."

"Hm?" She hummed as she looked down at her simple bead bracelets. "Do you want them? I have more."

He shrugged as he extended his arm towards her with a smirk.

Deva almost rolled her eyes as she took off her own and placed them around his wrist.

"Thank you."

She quickly took her gaze off of him, making him smile slightly. He shut off his phone and stood from the bed, making her look up at him.

He walked over to her desk and grabbed one of the books, holding it up towards her.

"Weren't you going to read this for me?" He questioned as he tilted his head, making Deva look down.

"You were serious?"

"Yes, I was serious Deva." He chuckled as he sat down next to her, giving her the book.

She stared at the cover for a moment, before opening it.

"Anna Dressed in Blood." She said under her breath as he looked over her shoulder.

Deva was startled as she felt a weight against her shoulder. She looked slightly to her side to look at Jake, whose eyes were closed softly, and his breath was steady.

He fell asleep?! What am I supposed to do now?!

She panicked in her head as she stayed as still as she could.

Her nervous hand softly tapped his cheek to wake him up, but to no avail.

She looked over at the clock on her desk and let out a sigh.

2:30am...

She carefully placed her hand under his head as she moved out of the way to lay him on his side.

Deva stood up as she stared at him for a few seconds, wondering what to do next.

With little strength, she brought his legs up onto the bed, covering him up to his shoulders with her soft blanket.

Deva let out a breath as she looked over at her roommate's bed in thought.

She's not very good at washing her sheets...

She thought in slight disgust as she scrunched up her nose.

She looked back at Jake and felt her ears burn.

But it wouldn't be appropriate to just lay next to him... would it?

Deva scratched the side of her head, before practically climbing over Jake and laying with her head towards the wall.

His feet were next to her head but that is so much better than laying on that bed that probably smelled like sweaty ass.

She carefully covered herself with the blanket as well as she tried to calm her nerves and close her eyes.

Deva broke out of her rest as she heard an alarm go off.
