Deva's arm wrapped around Jake's waist as his back was turned to her.

Their fingers were intertwined as the day started breaking through the curtains.

"Are you awake?" Deva asked quietly and Jake chuckled before turning to face her.

"I liked being the little spoon."

"That's such a random thought." Deva giggled as Jake gave her a smile.

"Good morning." He said softly as he stared into her eyes.

"Good morning." She spoke shyly, his hand reaching to caress her cheek.

Deva closed her eyes in embarrassment as Jake gave her a soft smirk.

She couldn't help but place her hands over her face making him let out a chuckle.

He softly grabbed her hand making her eyes meet his again.

He softly placed a kiss on her lips, this time slower and more agonizing, before pulling away and placing his head on the crook of her neck, letting out a small sigh.

Deva wrapped her arms around him as he buried his face against her neck.

"What were you doing before I came in here yesterday?"

"Sleeping so that I wouldn't cry." She whispered, letting out a small chuckle as she shyly ran a hand through his hair.

He hummed as he closed his eyes, his warm breath against her neck making goosebumps rise on her skin.

"I'll nap with you then. Just like this. Whenever you need it. Then you don't have to cry." He whispered as he wrapped his arm tightly around her waist, pulling her impossibly closer.

His lips innocently ran soft kisses along her neck as she gripped at his hair. He suddenly bit her making her let out a small gasp.

He lightly sucked on her skin, making goosebumps rise along her body and the urge to be closer to him to overwhelm her.

She couldn't help but let out a small moan of his name, making her quickly cover her mouth as she realized what had just happened.

Jake let out a small laugh against her neck, looking up at her in amusement.

She was embarrassed as he teasingly raised his eyebrows at her, making her cover her face again.

"It's nothing to be embarrassed about Dev." He giggled as he tried to pull her hands off of her face.

"No, Jake." She whined as she couldn't even look at him.

"You're adorable." Jake smiled as he nuzzled his nose in her neck making her smile again.

Why am I like this?

She questioned herself, but she suddenly jumped at the sound of thunder.

Jake looked towards the window, seeing it pouring outside.

"Well then seems like I can't go home. I'm so sad that I'm stuck here with you, I could cry." He cheekily spoke, his voice still scratchy making Deva giggle.

Deva looked up at the ceiling in thought as she went back to running her hand through Jake's hair.

They were in silence for a few minutes as they just laid there comfortably, but Deva's thoughts were running again, and she couldn't help but talk.

"Jake?"

"Hm?"

"I'm still scared." Deva said honestly, making Jake open his eyes slightly as he listened to her.
