Jake opened the door to another guest with a bright smile as the music blasted through the speakers in the apartment."Dev, baby, you came." He said excitedly as he pressed a kiss on her cheek, "Come in."
It was the last college party Jake was going to be throwing, as they were already near their graduation date.
There was only a week left of class before their graduation on the next weekend and Jake couldn't resist the temptation of throwing another one of his iconic parties before he left the university.
Deva looked around at the amount of people in the apartment, making her raise her eyebrows at how loud it all was, but she didn't mind it as much as the first few times.
Jake softly intertwined her hand with his as he pulled her the farthest from the speakers, making her have a small smile on her face at how considerate he was.
"Jake, hey!"
"Hey!"
Jake continued to greet people like the popular boy he was as he still held Deva's hand to his chest to pull her along to the loveseat that he had purposely moved to be far away from the main sound system.
"I'm surprised you're actually here." He spoke with a smile as he placed a kiss on her temple. "Do you want a drink?"
Deva considered it, remembering the last time that she had a drink.
"Are you sure?" She asked him in amusement making him chuckle.
"You weren't that hard to take care of. You were adorable, actually. Stubborn, but very adorable. But if I do get you a drink, you won't get drunk right?"
"Those aren't my plans. I'll take a drink." Deva nodded her head making Jake nod his head.
"I'll go get something good for you." He said quickly as he stood up and disappeared between the crowds and into the kitchen.

"Alcoholic!" Jake said in Deva's ear making her pout and shake her head.
"Am not!"
"Are too!"
She shook her head again with a giggle as she danced with Jake, who kept his hands grounded at her waist like the gentlemen he is.
She was pressed against him, making Jake chuckle as he watched her in amusement.
"You know, I could get used to you being this bold when you're drunk."
"Am I bold?" She questioned as she turned around to face him with furrowed eyebrows.
Jake nodded his head with a smile as she tilted her head before nodding.
"I guess I am. Take me to your room."
"Why?" He asked in surprise at her sudden request, making her shrug.
"You said I was bold. I'm being extra bold." She said softly as she wrapped her arms around his waist to which he felt his heart beat out of his chest. "I want to go to your room."
"Dev-"
His words were interrupted as she felt her kiss his jaw gently.
"You're drunk, baby. I don't want you to do something you'll regret." He said, swiftly kissing her cheek as a response before she pouted again.
"I never regret anything I do with you."
Jake knew drunk Deva well enough to know that she was going to throw a ginormous fit if he doesn't do what she wants.
