A FEW WEEKS LATER

"I think I'm being a little loud."

"Dev, they'll be fine."

Jake ran a hand through his hair, trying to keep it from getting in his eyes with an amused gaze, leaving his other hand on the red circle.

"We shouldn't have played this game with just us, we need someone to read it." Deva giggled as she tried to spin the wheel of the Twister game, as her arm was all the way on green and her right foot on yellow.

It had to be almost four in the morning, and they were supposed to be getting up around six.

They would only sleep for two hours if they actually went to bed, but somehow they ended up pulling out Jake's Twister game after multiple rounds of poker.

Their morning class professor always hosted an annual trip that took students to several museums in the span of two days and the hotel was the most boring place to exist.

But Jake always came prepared for a party.

"We can do it ourselves, spin it Dev."

"Jake how am I supposed to-"

Deva lost strength on her arm and dropped down to the ground, dragging Jake with her as his leg was under her.

"Deva! We could've kept playing." He laughed as he laid his head on the ground making Deva continue to breathlessly giggle.

"Jake I couldn't even lift my hand!"

"You need to do weight training."

"You don't even do weight training." She chuckled as she looked up at the ceiling.

"We were playing for a while so I'll give that one to you." Jake said as he looked at the side of her face. "You're not tired yet?"

Deva shook her head and looked at him with a small smile.

"Are you?"

"A little. Can you hold me?"

"Jake, what?" She laughed as she shook her head. "Why do you always say that?"

"I like sleeping next to you, Dev." Jake spoke softly as he scooted closer to her with a smirk, laying on her shoulder and hugging her waist.

"And I like when you sleep next to me, Jake." She whispered quietly, feeling a little embarrassed at her words.

"You know, you said that when you were drunk." He chuckled as he looked up at her.

"I did?"

"Yeah."

Deva didn't say anything as she looked up at the ceiling. Jake sat up and stared into her eyes. She stared right back at him as he placed his hand on her cheek.

"You're beautiful, Dev." He whispered and she couldn't help but look away. He placed his forehead against her cheek.

"Thank you."

Jake chuckled as he placed a kiss on her shoulder, then on her cheek and lastly on her lips.

Deva felt a shutter down her spine as she felt like that dream she once had was coming true. His actions were almost exactly the same, and the position she was in was similar.

Jake was straddling her waist as he kissed her softly. Her chest flushed against his.

Deva felt his hand slightly pull on the zipper of the hoodie he had leant her, but she didn't really feel like stopping him.

She trusted him wholeheartedly.

Once only the cleavage of her chest was showing, Jake stopped pulling the zipper down and looked into her eyes.
