"There's absolutely zero tolerance for drugs in our university. Although many have taken it upon themselves to violate the rules."Deva raised her eyebrows at the professor's speech as she wondered how he managed to figure this out now, out of all the times that there have been many that smelled like weed in the classroom.
"There have been many students who have been found with illegal substances in their dorms and apartments, which has resulted in immediate suspensions which I will announce right now." Professor Santos spoke as he pulled out a paper from his bag.
Deva's eyes widened in surprise at the fact that he was reading it in front of the whole class.
"Kira Diane. Iris Summer. Charles Green..."
Deva's eyes widened even more as she heard the two names of the people she despised the most, not expecting them to be called out.
She knew Charles smoked weed but she didn't know that he'd get caught so easily.
"The students that I have called will immediately leave the classroom and go to the dean's office for further notice."
Deva couldn't help but let her eyes follow the two, getting caught off guard by Charles glaring at her as if she had done something.
She furrowed her eyebrows as she watched them leave the room, wondering what this had anything to do with her.
But then her brain clicked together, and she turned to look behind her.
Jake's eyes were already on hers, and he only gave her a small sheepish shrug, looking away from her with raised eyebrows as if he had seen nothing.

"Jake."
"Hm?" He pretended to be innocent as he ran a hand through his hair without looking at her and only looking around the campus.
"What did you do?"
"Me? Nothing, Dev. What makes you think I did something? Me? No." Jake said acting shocked as he pointed at himself in question.
Deva narrowed her eyes at him as she crossed her arms over her chest.
"Do you want to go get coffee?" He questioned as he pointed at the parking lot with a smile.
Deva raised her eyebrows at him as she stood in her spot.
"Alright fine. It was me. I snitched... They deserved it." He grinned as he lightly bit his lip proudly and rocked in his spot like a petty child at Disneyland.
She stared at him for a few moments before walking ahead of him to his car.
"Oh come on, Dev, you have to admit that they deserved it. At least they didn't get expelled from the university, which is honestly what I hoped for, but it was only a suspension." He said quickly as he followed after her.
Deva contained her smile as Jake unlocked the car.
She got in without responding and he moved to the driver's seat before looking at her with raised eyebrows.
"Are you really mad?"
Deva looked away from him with a small smirk, before looking back at him.
"You know, you're pretty evil." She said softly making Jake smirk. "I should be the one that never gets on your bad side."
"You know, if you do get on my bad side, I don't think I'd do anything too bad to you."
"What would you do?"
