Deva looked up at the sky as she laid her head on Jake's lap, trying to spot the scattered stars.

Jake's feet were moving around in the warm water of the pool as he leaned back against his hands, a faint smile on his lips as he looked up at the sky as well.

"Deva, look at me." Jake whispered making Deva look at Jake in question. "I think I found them."

"What?"

"The stars. In your eyes." He smirked in amusement as she rolled her eyes and looked away from him, containing her own smile.

"Shut up." She said as she felt her face burn.

Jake smiled as she played with the ends of his shorts.

"Do you have any dreams?" He suddenly asked, making her look at him.

"Like, goals?"

"Mhm."

Deva sighed in thought as she tilted her head. She was silent for a few seconds, before nodding her head.

"I do."

"What is it?" He questioned softly as he stared at her.

"I want to retire early." She giggled making Jake chuckle. "What's yours?"

Jake sighed slightly as he looked at the water.

"I want to finish getting my degree first. And after I'm established with a good paying job, I really want to be a good family man." He looked down at Deva in amusement, who looked at him with narrowed eyes. "I'm actually being serious."

"Really?"

He nodded his head as he smiled at her.

"I want a nice house with a nice back yard. The house doesn't have to be too big. I want a dog, and three kids."

"Three?!"

"Why do you look horrified? Are you planning to give them to me?" Jake joked, poking her side making her shake her head and push on his arm.

"It's a very beautiful dream." She said softly as she sat up, bringing her knees to her chest.

"Thank you." He whispered as he lightly bit his lip with a small smile.

"Deep, unlike mine, I just want to retire." She laughed as she watched Jake softly play with the water.

"We could share mine." He said casually as he looked over at her.

"How are you so good with your words?"

Jake shrugged slightly before tilting his head.

"Because I mean them."

Deva looked away from him, her ears burning but she tried to not let it show.

"We're supposed to be getting up in a few hours again. We should probably go sleep." He yawned as he stood up and extended his hand, reaching for hers.

She nodded her head and accepted his help, giving him a grateful smile, but she let out a small squeal as Jake suddenly picked her up, making her panic and wrap her legs around his waist.

He grinned as he walked, Deva holding onto his neck with a giggle.

"Can you even see?"

"Mhm." He hummed before pretending to bump into the door making her laugh louder as he shook his head playfully. "Shh Dev, we're going to get kicked out."
