Chapter 15

Regina's POV

It's 4am and we are driving back to SLEX. Ali woke me up soooo early to go back to that location of the accident. He said he wants to check it one more time.

I huffed in annoyance.

"Bakit ka galit na naman?" Tanong ni Ali mula sa driver's seat.

"I'm not mad. It's just too early." I just answered.

"Hindi daw. Kelan pa naging issue sayo ang early?" He asked.

"Just drive and talk to me when we get there! I need silence." I said in frustration. Well, I am not gonna say na I don't wanna get up because I woke up in Narda's arms and it's too comfortable. I guess, we both shifted in the middle of the night and our body just.. I don't know. Well, we cuddled like a bunch of times, it became an instinct to get close to her.

Few minutes of silence before I realized something. "What if they wake up without us, what are we gonna say?"

No answer.

I looked at Ali and he just raised his eyebrow on me.

"Ali?!" I asked annoyed.

"You asked for silence. Pwede na sumagot?"

"Stop messing with me."

He laughed, "So grumpy in the morning. Ano bang nangyari na sainyo ni Narda? Natulog ba kayong may tampuhan kaya ka ganyan?"

"Wha-at? No."

"Huh. Why stutter?"

"Ali! It's not Narda, it's you. So annoying."

He laughed. "Okay fine, I will let it go. We'll just say na we went for a drive. I did say na may pupuntahan ako diba?"

"Fine." I said.

And this is the first time that Narda and I slept on the same bed until morning. Narda's the type who always says good morning kahit magkasama kayo lagi sa bahay and I live for those moments. It's cute. I am kinda hoping to hear it as soon as we wake up.

"Ugh!!" I groaned and I covered my face with my palms. What am I even thinking????

"Itatanong ko kung okay ka lang pero baka activated pa rin yung 'I need silence.'"

"Stop!"

Ali's POV

We stopped in the lay-by again and got off the vehicle. It's dark but I don't think we'll have a problem because I have a plan. That is to hit two birds with one stone.

"Anything?" Regina asked.

"Nothing." I answered.

"So, I have a question that is bothering me." Regina suddenly said. Her voice is calmer.

Napatingin ako sa kanya.

"But I am not sure if ikaw ba talaga dapat pagtanungan ko." She continued.

"Why?" Tanong ko kasi it's not usual na she is hesitating to ask me.

"It's about soulmates."

Well, if this is about her own soulmate, I'm all ears kasi I actually have the mental list why it is possible that it's Narda.

-Present siya sa scene nung naaksidente si Regina.

-Walang nakakita o nakaalala kung sino una humawak sa kamay ni Regina. Kahit si Brian, hindi niya natatandaan. So walang evidence na it's Brian.

-The connection. Mutual attraction. The constant longing with each other kahit hindi nila aminin.

-Based sa kwento ni Regina nung nagcatch up kami, there are times na hindi niya macontrol ang abilities niya when Narda is around. She did not say 'when Narda is around' per se, that's just my take when she told me the story. First, sa ospital, then sa Manila Bay. It's a natural impulse. It's like feeling the butterflies as what humans say.
