"You've been busy,"
Carter tuned into Steve and Tony's conversation as Tony began berating her dad.
"And you've been a complete idiot. Dragging in Clint, 'rescuing' Wanda from a place she doesn't even wanna leave, a safe place, kidnapping Carter-"
"You'd rather I left her with you? To be locked up, put on house arrest? Forced to repress her powers-"
"I'm trying to keep-" Tony stopped himself, taking a breath, "I'm trying to keep you from tearing the Avengers apart,"
"You did that when you signed,"
"Alright, we're done," Tony muttered, "You're gonna turn Barnes over and you're gonna come with us now because it's us...or a squad of J-SOC guys with no compunction about being impolite," Tony demanded, muttering, "Come on."
She suddenly heard Sam's voice over her comms.
"We found it."
"The Quinjet is in hangar five, north runway," He relayed to the team.
Carter, Wanda, and Clint watched Steve lift his hands in the air. Something had them held together, and Clint shot an arrow straight threw it.
They ran for the North runway. Crashes and blasts came from the other end of their comms, and echoed in the garage around them until they finally made it out onto the tarmac. Carter heard jets coming up behind them, and she turned just in time to see Tony trailing them. He released rockets into a nearby plane, sending debris and shrapnel into their path.
The three ducked down, taking what minimal cover they had until the debris cleared.
"Wanda, I think you hurt vision's feelings," Tony spoke from behind them. He hovered about thirty feet in the air, holding out his repulsor threateningly.
"You locked me in my room," Wanda retorted.
"Okay- first, that's an exaggeration. Second, I did it to protect you," He countered, and Carter scoffed. "Don't give me that, accords or no accords, you shouldn't even be here. Cap had no right to bring you into this-"
"You had no right in taking my custody away from him, you know that crossed a line, Tony," She argued, and he just offered her a sigh in response.
"Tony, you didn't?" Clint asked, clearly not privy to the custody situation.
"Hey Clint, clearly retirement doesn't suit you. What, you get tired of shooting golf?" He deflected, irritating all three of them.
"Played eighteen, shot eighteen. Just can't seem to miss," The archer joked, firing two arrows at Tony's suit.
He dodged and destroyed both, but while he's distracted Wanda and Carter focussed their abilities and reached out to the parking garage above him.
"First time for everything," Tony quiped at Clint.
"Made you look,"
Seemingly out of nowhere, car after car came down and dropped directly over Tony. Carter and Wanda began turning and spinning them so he was forced to fire and shoot until they eventually managed to trap him under a grouping of three cars.
While he was preoccupied, they raced around the trucks and planes, weaving through debris and shipping containers until the hangar finally came into view. They ran into Steve and Lang, end eventually Bucky and Sam as well until the whole group was running together.
Wanda stuck a hand out and stopped Carter just in time as a bright yellow beam of light cut right in from of their path.
"VIS YOU ALMOST HIT ME!" Carter shouted, raising her hands in exasperation as she turned to face him.
