Lloyd
Suzanne barged into my room with Denny.
"Where the fuck is Camille she isn't answering my...calls." Suzanne said. I put a finger up to my lips to shut her up.
Camille was fast asleep next to me.
"Did you drag her in here? You're sadistic lloyd she's had a bad day."
"I did not drag her in here. We talked about everything. Of course I know she's had a bad day." I whispered. Camille groaned beside me, looking over at suzanne and denny. She set her head back down.
"I'm okay." She whispered. Suzanne came over to her and pulled her up in a hug.
"Sweetheart I'm so sorry. Did Lloyd talk about the plan?"
She nodded as Suzanne pulled her away.
I watched as Suzanne gave me a dirty stare. I rolled my eyes.
"Do not fuck her."
"Suz." Camille whined.
"Oh my god get out." I said to Suzanne. She sighed and left with Denny. Camille tiredly moved back to her spot.
For being so quiet, her mind was going three thousand miles and hour. I think she could explode.
I moved her onto her back so that I could look at her. She stared at me.
"Lloyd..." she whispered. I pulled her into a kiss. She melted immediately. Fuckin a.
I kissed her harder. Her arms wrapped around the back of my neck. Every moment I missed her.
I pulled away. She gave me those soft eyes.
"That was a bad idea."
"I know. I'm sorry." I whispered.
She was tired and hazed. I knew in the morning she would be extremely mad. She's just vulnerable and doesn't have the strength to tell me what's really on her mind.
I really don't want her to forgive me so quickly. If I was in her shoes it would take months.
She closed her eyes again. I smiled. She was just extremely tired.
She wouldn't sleep in my bed tonight. That wasn't right.
I got over to her side of the bed and picked her up. She groaned.
"Just tell me to get up." She said as she got out of my arms. I smirked.
"You hungry?" I asked. She nodded. We went downstairs.
Suzanne was standing in the kitchen. She gave me a look.
"Camille..." Suzanne said. She looked at her.
"Did you two do anything?"
Camille shook her head. I went into the living room with Denny. He was watching football.
"So Chief is dead." Denny said. I nodded.
"Just got the mansion. It's really happening."
I looked at Camille. She just looked emotionless at this point. She always showed emotion.
"You taking her with?" Denny asked quietly.
"If she says yes." I said. "She wants to think about it."
"Well she is obviously thinking. I've never seen her look so dead."
"Dude shut up."
I watched as she poured herself a glass of wine and grabbed a pack of cigarettes before going outside. I got up and followed her.
She stood against the porch as she lit a cigarette. She took up smoking after I fucked up her life.
"You want one?" She asked.
"Sure." I whispered. I grabbed one and lit it. I stood next to her, watching her blow out the smoke.
"You know I haven't forgiven you yet, right?"
"You shouldn't have to forgive me." I said.
"Well I'm not gonna marry someone I haven't forgiven." She said.
"Does that mean that you're-"
"I have nothing else to do with my life. So yeah."
"Well I don't want you to feel forced."
"I don't. It's okay." She said. "I think part of me is happy that I have something to fall back on."
I nodded. She looked out at the night sky.
"I can hear the wheels turning in your head Cam."
She smiled. "Too much to think about."
She got rid of her cigarette and took a sip of her wine. She handed me the glass, which I took a sip of as well.
"You know I regret a lot from the past years. But I regret one thing more than going behind your back. And that one thing is not making things official with you."
She rolled her eyes. "Whatever."
"But it's not whatever. Camille I should've. That was the root of almost all our fights. I'm sorry."
"There's a lot that we're both gonna end up being sorry for. Just let it go."
I nodded. She fumbled with her hands.
"Hey.." I said as I set down her wine. Her eyes were foggy again. I pulled her up into a hug.
She sighed and hugged me back.
"I don't even care about the whole relationship thing at this point. But you were my only friend for years upon years. I'm just realizing how alone I've been."
I hugged her tighter. I felt the same way, but it was my fault we both felt that way, so I didn't say anything.
I just hugged her.

I sat in bed that night, wiping away my tears.
I might be a psychopath but I wasn't one around her. And I ruined her life.
I heard a knock on my door. I wiped my tears.
"Yeah." I said.
Camille opened the door, looking at me. I sighed.
"Hey." I whispered. She came over and got into bed. She stared at me as I wiped my face.
"Hey." She whispered. She wiped my tears with her thumbs. She was on my lap.
I looked at her. She kissed my forehead.
"You're overthinking." She whispered. I hugged her close.
"I'm sorry.." I whispered. She kissed my head as I hugged her.
"Suzanne told me the plan. It's psychotic but I'll take it." She said.
"Really?"
"But I'm not marrying you. And I want my own room."
I nodded. She sighed.
"This is crazy. And I still hate you."
I smiled through the tears. "I know."
Camille kissed my cheek before getting off of me.
"Can you stay?" I asked her. She sighed.
She got under the covers and pulled me in. I sighed. This was our normal. I loved when she let me do this. I missed her scent.
The same scent that she wore that night we went out.
I looked up at her. "Are you wearing that same perfume that you wore that night?"
"I never stopped wearing it after that night."
I sighed. She rested her hand on my shoulder. I closed my eyes and sighed. I missed this so much.
"Goodnight Lloyd."
"Goodnight."
