Lloyd quietly got into bed. It was maybe three am.

I opened my eyes. He had been in a meeting. We were back in Boston and he was getting his hands dirty.

"Hi." I whispered. He glanced over.

"Hey. You should be asleep sunshine."

I smiled softly. He pulled me into a short kiss before laying down. He looked exhausted.

"So what are you trying to get yourself into?" I whispered. He pulled me over so that he could spoon me. He sighed.

"Mafia."

"You're lying." I said while laughing.

"No I'm serious. The cartel here is insane."

"Lloyd...we moved here to protect the kids."

"The guys that I'm going into business with has twins in the same class as Max. Trust me. We're okay. I have the kids in mind. But I also have our livelihood."

"No you don't. This could be dangerous."

"I owned a private government and lived in the same place that I killed people. You worked while you were pregnant with both of our children, and let our children in my place of work-"

"-our place of work. My names on it too. If you didn't have me you wouldn't have gotten half as much done." I said. It was a little snappy.

"Alright...our place. But you know what I mean. Besides I don't own this. I'm just helping out."

"Is it drugs? Cause we've talked about this. No more Vicodin."

"Nope. Just cash."

I nodded. "Just because we're on the topic. You know I regret every second of putting my kids within our work, right?"

He stayed quiet. "Really?"

"Yeah. I hate that I chose to do that."

"...do you regret anything else? Cause you don't talk much about regret."

"Not really. The only one is that I had sex with other people besides you."

I tried to act like I was enjoying sex while a guy rammed into me. He hadn't hit my spots once.

I wanted him to go so I could just be alone. I didn't like it.

He finished. I faked my orgasm. I didn't even care.

He pulled out and laid beside me. I got up and grabbed my robe, putting it on.

"Jeez. Relax I think I just broke you. God you were tight."

He was one of those stereotypical frat boys. I knew Lloyd was home, so I hope he heard the moans from frat boy.

Actually..I hope he didn't.

I looked at him. "I've got work in the morning. Do you need a cab or anything?"

"Are you sure you weren't a virgin?"

I looked in the mirror as I started brushing my hair. "Not a virgin."

"Then what you only been with like one other guy?"

Basically. And I was only used to him.

"No. But seriously, you've gotta go."

"What you got a boyfriend that's coming home soon or something?" He asked as he put his pants on.

"No." I whispered.

"Whatever. I'll call you if I wanna do this again."

I nodded softly.
