POV Jisung

It was only when I had finally got myself together that I noticed Minho was very absent today. "I hope I didn't catch you off guard," Minho said quietly as he straightened his jacket and looked at me, breathing a little faster than usual. "Just a little. Is everything alright with you then?" He smiled kindly at me. "Yes, everything is fine Jisung, don't worry." He walked slowly towards me and put his hand on my shoulder. "Shall we?" I looked at him confused, which made him laugh a little. "The party?", "Oh! Y-yes of course!" I hid my flushed face for a moment as Minho took my hand and ran with me to the lift I had come in earlier. Minho just grinned to himself as he pressed the button so that the lift went up to us. He knew very well that the blush on my face would not go away. On the contrary, it would probably only get worse. The lift opened, and Mister Lee immediately got into it and simply pulled me behind him. We stood side by side against the lift wall. The ride to the seventh floor, which was under Minho's office, was quiet. After all, it didn't take long.

Together we entered the party, which, like my flat, was decorated in simple colours. Everything was very simple, the walls had different shades of grey and the furniture was black. If I am to be honest, anything else would confuse me as well, since everything of Minho's was in different shades of grey. "Do you like the decorations?" a voice familiar to me spoke. Then, as I turned around too, I saw the boy with the blond hair and freckles behind me. "A bit colourless, but otherwise perfect? And you?", I asked the boy whose name I didn't know. "Honestly, not at all. Always that grey, depressive hue. It drives me crazy!" he laughed in response to my question. "What's your name, by the way?", "Oh ehm. My name is Jisung. And yours?" He suddenly grinned widely. "So you are my brother's secretary. Interesting."

A hand came to rest on my hip and when I turned around, I recognised Mister Lee. "I see you have already met my brother Felix," he spoke quietly. "Oh, Minho Hyung, we've known each other for a while." My boss looked at me confused. " That's right. I ran into him at my bus stop on my way into town and I had met him again outside your office, Mister Lee," I tried to say calmly, but it didn't work, so I stood in front of him stuttering. The corners of his mouth went up when he heard me speak. "No need to get nervous, Jisung." I heard Minho laugh softly at his brother. "Have you tried any of the canapés?", Minho asked me now, and I shook my head. "No I haven't," "They are excellent. Come, let's go to the buffet." Mister Lee almost looked like he was going to flee. But why? "My brother is very particular," he spoke softly as we arrived at the buffet, where Hyunjin was already making several of the small portions of food on his plate. "I see you like it, Hyunjin," Minho spoke with amusement. "It's really incredibly tasty Minho, you really must try the pickled radish! Chan really made it well this time.", "How many more times Hyunjin, that is Mister Lee. I'm your boss, not your best friend! ", "Minho, we're at a party here. Lighten up and relax...", Hyunjin said calmly and started moving. "You can already see the stick hanging out of your ass. It's not that cool, by the way!" he shouted before finally leaving, leaving Minho standing there completely shocked. "Did he really just say that?", Minho asked me. "I think so, yes..." I tried to look shocked, but I just couldn't suppress my laughter. "Are you laughing at me right now?" asked Mister Lee Minho with a grin, which made me nod. "Yes, I'm sorry, Mister Lee!" He started laughing a little, too. "It's okay." He picked up a plate and looked at me for a moment before taking some appetizers that Hyunjin had recommended.

"I hope it's really as good as Hyunjin said!" Grinning, I grabbed a plate as well and put some appetizers on it. Minho put his arm around my waist again, guiding me to our table. I had to grin. The thought that he could have just told me where our table was, but instead led me there, made my stomach tingle. Once at our table, we sat down and started eating our small bites. "Are you enjoying the party?", Minho asked me quietly while eating the radish and looking at me. "It's alright. I find it a bit boring here...", "Really? Would you like some wine or something like that?", he asked, and I grinned. "Do you have anything stronger?"
At that, he just looked at me with a grin. "Can you take it then?" he asked, to which I shrugged. "I don't know if I'm honest," Then we should leave it, don't you think? "I looked at him. "Yes, you are right." He now stood up suddenly and went to the buffet again. I was confused. It was always said that Minho was very cold and closed off, but somehow that didn't match the Minho I had met. "Well, what are you thinking about?" my boss's little brother suddenly asked as he also sat down next to me. "Nothing important." I smiled at him briefly as I shoved some morsels into my mouth. "You know, it's weird to see my Hyung so nice and sweet. That's why, no matter what you do, don't stop. "He stood up and walked away with quick steps. "What did Jeongin want from you, if you don't mind me asking?" I winced a little. "He said I was a good match for you, Mister Lee," was all I said. I didn't have to tell him the complete truth, and some things I could put differently.
