"i'm about to roll up. you partaking?" i ask june and seph as everyone is walking into the house from the last training session of the day.

"i'm going to shower first. i'll roll up my own after i'm done," june says.

i nod.

"ray? v? y'all partaking in the sesh?" i ask.

"i'm down," ray nods.

"hell yeah!" veda cheers.

"matt? gray? seph? i didn't hear your answer," i say.

"i'm going to change first," seph says and her and june disappear to their room.

"count me in," gray says.

"well, i think we're all smoking," matt smiles.

"cool. i'll roll a fatty then," i say and go to my room.

i relax on my bed and grab my material from my bedside table. i begin to break down the weed.

time has flown; each day blending into the next.

and you can tell time has passed since everyone's hair is just a tad bit longer than before. i'm sporting small curls now, soon to be a bush of hair.

over two months without apple or dom. neither ray, june, v, or i are able to contact them.

and i don't want to think the worst, but i can't help to. what has ann done with them? has she hurt them? erased their memories?!

we've learned more about our powers since meeting veda.

i knew we weren't the only ones, but we weren't the first ones. a little disappointing, but eye opening nonetheless.

"i said RELEASE ME!" the girl tells ray.

ray intakes a sharp breath, eyes pinching closed.

veda stands, smirking and dusting herself off.

"the names veda," she says, looking at us.

ray breathes in, coming back from her trance. she frowns, staring at this veda girl.

what did she just do?

"what did you-" juniper squeaks out.

"i'm not surprised miss peters has powers. when i saw you on television, and saw what you did? i thought it so insane you could destroy the world. you had to be inhuman of some kind," veda smiles giddy, "badass shit! however, i'm surprised about the group," she says, looking around at us. "where's dominic?"

"not here. who are you again?" ray questions.

even though this is someone we're supposed to be in contact with, ray's putting up a wall with her.

"veda tucker. 20. superhuman," she grins.

"and-and what exactly was that miss veda tucker? that release me thing," persephone asks.

"i call it, the power of persuasion. i can tell anyone what to do," she answers.

"can you really?" matt asks.
