there's a large table with chairs on top. a tv hanging on one wall facing the table. two file cabinets in parallel corners and boxes on the adjacent ones.

"where do i start first?" i question to myself.

boxes or file cabinets?

the boxes would be... maybe the file cabinets would be easier.

after doing a small game of eeny meeny miny mo, fike cabinets win.

i walk over and open the three cabinets. it takes more time than usual, being not in our current reality.

"babe? you guys okay?" seph's voice speaks from around me.

"yeah, we're doing good," i tell her. "we're in lab one. we're going to find the location."

"good. good love. you guys are doing amazing."

"how's v and alex?"

"they're good. finding dom. i'll check in later. i love you."

"i love you too."

i focus on the open cabinets. i peer inside and search the tabs:
