"deep breathes everyone," v says, as well grab hands.

i grab onto v's hand, she holds june's, who's holding alex's, as he has my other hand. our energy surges together in one perfect harmony. it builds and mixes with many emotions.

i take a deep breath.

i've never felt this before.

it feels amazing. overpowering. heavenly.

"gray, seph, matt, you are our tie to reality. so check in on us from time to time. just speak, and we'll be able to hear you; it'll bleed over into wherever we are. that way we won't lose our original reality," i tell them.

"wait, you can get lost in there?" gray questions.

"that's why you three are monitoring us," v tells him. "if anyone looks in danger, you do everything you can to pull us out."

"i will," he tells her, nodding his head.

"alright guys. apple's happy place," i smile.

we all close our eyes.

i open my eyes and see the beautiful blue flowers that remind me of apollonia.

i miss her so much.

"took you long enough," i hear behind me.

i jump, turning around seeing veda sitting against the big tree that still has my burn mark on it.

"shit v! don't do that," i sigh, relaxing.

"still waiting on june and alex," she tells me.

i go and sit next to v.

"this place... it's..." she trails off, staring intently at the meadow that glistens with brightness.

"apple is the goat making this her happy place," i agree.

"you must miss her. when i saw your memories, you two couldn't be separated."

"i do miss her. she's the coolest little girl. i wanted to be the one the teach her about her powers. dominic would be there too."

"it's still possible. it's still in reach."

"i hope this works," i sigh.

"it has to."

"hey guys," i hear alex.

v and i turn our head simultaneously and see alex walking toward us. he sits down on the other side of me.

"three down, one to go," i nod.

"june. you think she's okay?" alex asks.

"i'm here!" june yells, finally arriving. "i ended up in your moms apartment somehow."

"at least we all made it," v nods.

"this must be the part where we split up," alex says.
