"are we ready yet v?" i ask her as we've been resting from out latest dreamwalk.

"you think you're ready? keep in mind, all of our powers will be connected, so we might not need that much force, but effort and focus is still the main goal. dreamwalking is an art. you can fuck yourself up if you go to far. i almost got lost once, away from my vessel. this isn't something you want to rush," she stresses, looking at juniper and i.

"i don't want to rush either, but ann is torturing my brother. i want to be ready. i feel ready," i tell her.

we've been at this for hours. i'm starting to get anxious about dom.

"june?"

we look at her.

"i want this over with. ann's fucked with us for too long," she smiles, "it's time we do this."

i stand up from my sitting position and help the girls up.

we superspeed back to the house and walk in.

soraya and juniper jump up off the couch. gray turns around from the recliner, and matt sits up from floor, all paying attention to us.

"so?" ray asks, eyes hopeful as ever.

the first time i've seen them this way.

"we are ready," veda smiles. everyone cheers "but, we still need to be weary."

"i know. we're going to have limited time in case ann tries something again. i think it's about time we stop winging our half witted plans," ray says.

"we should do the dreamwalk here," juniper suggests,"make it dim. it's already quiet. we should do it right here, where matt is sitting."

"yes," ray agrees.

"june and i will get sheets to cover the windows. we'll light candles and set the mood."

the two disappear into the house.

we're doing it. we're going to get dom.

i look at ray.

🐲 | ready isn't the word.

🌹 | good. this is it.

🐲 | no more fighting.

i smile at her.

she smiles back.

"alright. ray, you want to help with candles?" veda asks.

"yeah. c'mon."

the two walk away into the house as well.

i look at gray and matt.

"anyone else's hope resparked?" i ask them, grinning.

"yeah man! this is it!" gray grins.

"should we be doing something?" matt asks, "the girls are doing things, should we?"

"but what?" i ask, and look around. i land on the furniture. "actually, let's move these couches. open the space up," i suggest.

matt and gray stand up and we collectively push the couches away from each other.

we finish as the girls all file in.

"this looks great!" seph compliments, dumping folded up sheets on the couch.

"let's get this place set up," i grin.

gray and i help seph and june pin up the sheets over the windows while ray, veda, and matt light candles and place pillows in a pile together inside the candle ring.

eventually we have covered every window, every candle is lit, and pillows await for our four bodies to sit on.

"this looks amazing," i smile.

"also looks like a seance, but what do i know?" veda shrugs.

"you still feel dom, ray?" i ask her.

"yes. let's hurry and do this. it's really faint."

"wait a minute before we rush. how do we do this? what are we doing?" veda questions.

"let's have a meet up place in the dreamworld. then we'll split up and search for dominic, but we have to meet back at the meet up place before coming out. we come out together," ray asserts.

"what if one of us gets in trouble?" june asks.

"we'll test and see if we can still communicate through telepathy. i think we will because i could still use my powers. you say the word, we all drop what we're doing and go to help. code word: wall-e," she tells everyone.

"like from disney!" june smiles.

"once we find dominic, you give him his memories. no conversations, no time wasted," ray states.

"are we ready?" i question.

"where should we have our meet up place?" juniper asks.

the four of us look at each other.

"apple's happy place," soraya says, nodding.

"the nemophila meadow!" june grins. "it's so beautiful."

"just in case we find apple too. she might visit there," ray nods.

"alright," i smile.

"let's do this shit," veda smirks.
