Chapter 51

Okay, so I gave this a lot of thought. The reason why the last chapter was delayed so much was because I couldn't bring myself to write their past. The main plot the book is based on. And so skipping it was inevitable.

Yet I can't bring myself into writing the past. So I have come up with the idea that I'll give you a brief summary of the past and then we'll continue the present story.

So the plot goes like

Taehyung is a blessed wolf. Unlike the others, Taehyung was born to protect, to suffer, to love, to live a life full of misery. He was born to be a blessing to others but a curse to himself.

All because his mother was the moon goddess. Taehyung is the moon goddess's son. The goddess who was never supposed to give birth in the first place but she did. As a result, Taehyung was born with such a fate.

The moon goddess was aware of this. But she didn't know how to tackle this. She was concerned about her son. She loved him dearly. Still does.

She didn't want Taehyung to suffer but was not left with any other choice. Until one day. If she had known that the solution to end her son's suffering was right by their side, she might have stopped the unstoppable.

It was a full moon day. Little Taehyung along with his mother for the very first time had left their palace to visit someone's house. The moon goddess's closest person had given birth. The moon goddess couldn't help but visit her friend, not knowing it will change her and her son's life forever.

Little did the moon goddess know that this visit will change her son's life. Jungkook, her friend's new born baby was nothing like a normal werewolf. His features were godly and bold. As soon as they reached her friend's house, it took no time for them to realise that Taehyung and Jungkook were born to be each other's mate. As if, Jungkook was born for Taehyung to live.

The way only Taehyung could smell Jungkook's scent, the way their eyes changed color everytime they matched, the moon goddess knew that her son has been blessed with a weakness. The weakness that's brought to Taehyung's life to kill him but will end up becoming the reason for him to live happily ever after.

Years went by, Taehyung had become big enough to understand what Jungkook was to him. The alpha had become protective about the younger one. Jungkook was still too small to realise that Taehyung was more than a friend.

Not everyday is as bright. One fine day, everything came down the hill. The moon goddess received a message from her godfather about Taehyung's nearing death. The cause of it being none other than Jungkook. The moon goddess knew that Taehyung was going to die nevertheless.

She knew that Taehyung couldn't live without his mate nor can he live by being with Jungkook. Of course, she chose to bring Jungkook away from Taehyung since that's the warning that she had got from her godfather.

With the hope of Jungkook and Taehyung meeting in near future, the moon goddess chose to separate the lovers. Better than them staying together and experiencing Taehyung's death.

Taehyung had gone feral that night. The night when Jungkook was taken away from him. His worst nightmare had come true.

The scar on the moongodesses face was the result of Taehyung's wrath. Since then, the alpha never spoke to his mother.

Jungkook's mother had to take Jungkook away from Taehyung. Jungkook's father had to leave them and face the wrath of the evil because Taehyung had unknowingly brought him away from his family. The story about Jungkook's father leaving them for another woman was a false story told by his mother to him. Jungkook has always been very close to his father, only way of taking him away from his father was making him hate that man.

Long story short, Taehyung and Jungkook were mates since they were born. Them being children were not aware of this concept back then but Taehyung was big enough to understand that his and Jungkook's relationship was different. Their parents had to bring them away from each other to stop any misfortune from happening since Taehyung is not an ordinary child like Jungkook.

They had to create a scenario wherein, they could keep them away from each other even though they themselves had to get in bad blood with their own children.

They had already planned to bring them together once they feel that both Taehyung and Jungkook were ready. Even their first meeting after being separated was planned by their parents.

This is their past. 😅
