"BCRL?"

"Bio-Chem Rejects Legion."

Richard looked at Conner like he had two heads. Everyone came piling into my room because Dick wanted me to rest as much as possible. Apparently I overexerted myself and drained a lot of my power.

Jason made himself comfortable next to me, pulling me to his chest so my back could rest on it. I was fine with it as I still felt really cold and per usual, he was really warm. Maverick had made himself comfortable on my lap, not that I minded in the slightest. I think he could sense I needed him.

Dick was sat to my left holding a tablet. Jason and I were peering over his shoulder. Conner had found that the lawyer my dad killed, who's name is Maurice Vander, was a chemistry major drop out. He allegedly stole a bunch of the school chemicals and created deadly smoke bombs. He then went under an alias, Rick Jones. He used this alias to enroll in law school where he practiced for 5 years up until his death. He was only 34.

The accountant victim, Marcella Gomez, was a retired high school biology teacher. She never used an alias, however on the database Conner managed to hack into, she was in this organization up until her death. She altered a lot of DNA and RNA using the chemicals Maurice stole. She seemed to be extremely intelligent. She died at age 65.

The police officer, Ingrid Holzer, was only 25 when she was killed. According to the database, she was the undercover piece for this organization. She would take the drugs found on criminals and take it to this organization's lab. She was even used in robberies. There wasn't much in her profile.

The store clerk, Robbie Mack, was 54 when he was found shot. He was an inventor wannabe and created a lot of the tools this organization seemed to use. The microscopes, the labs, the gadgets used to manipulate things, this guy created. He dropped out of medical school for stealing equipment. What a real winner.

"Medical school dropout, chemistry major drop out, biology teacher." Dick read aloud. "This is a recipe for one very nuclear disaster."

"Called it!" Jason exclaimed.

"You guys got all that from the database?" Gar asked, peering over Dick's other shoulder.

"The idiots uploaded their own profiles." Conner replied. "Besides, with the programming Bruce has, it wouldn't be hard to dig up dirt."

"Solid point." Gar mumbled.

"But what about the apartment murder?" Kory asked, leaning against the wall. "Do we have anything on that?"

"Only her name, Jenna Matthews." Rachel replied, holding up a file. "She wasn't a part of the organization."

"I wonder what made her a target then. These killings happened one right after the other. All of them had some sort of chemical or medical background." Kory explained, crossing her arms.

"Jenna was a single mom, no criminal history or aliases, and she worked the day shift as a waitress." Rachel explained, reading from the file in her hands.

"A single mom?" Gar asked, looking at Rachel. "Who was her kid?"

"Harley Matthews. She died in a hit and run a few days after her mom was killed." Rachel replied, handing the file over to Garfield.

"Was it ever solved?" I asked.

Rachel shook her head. "No one has been caught. She was only 7."

"That can't be a coincidence." Kory stated, shaking her head. "Roy Fischer was paid to murder Jenna, Maurice, Marcella, Ingrid, and Robbie. His financials prove it. He was also paid to murder Mr and Mrs Stone."
