"Loreli, seriously just let me look at it!"

"Jason for the last time, I'm fine!"

I was locked in Bruce's camper van's bathroom. I was trying my best to patch up my nose. It wasn't broken, just very badly bruised. I also had a cut on the side of my cheek that wouldn't stop bleeding. I knew I was going to have to give myself stitches.

Jason was worried about me, but he's always been like that. Bruce used to tease us all the time about how we were like Bonnie and Clyde. We actually went as them for Halloween one year. I wish I still had those pictures, I'm not sure where I put them.

"I will break this damn door." Jason threatened.

I groaned and unlocked it, flinging it open. "What."

"You need stitches." He plainly said, pushing past me and into the tiny bathroom.

The bathroom was small so I had to sit in the sink, at least almost in the sink. Jason didn't seem to pay much attention, or just simply didn't care, and manuvered around me to get what he needed. He had changed his clothes and cleaned himself up. He looked better than he did early, but his eye was a bit swelled up.

"Where's Maverick?" I asked, turning my head to the side so he could stitch my cheek.

"With Bruce and Dick trying to figure out what the hell just happened." He replied, gently starting to stitch my cheek.

I felt his hands on my face, they were warm. "The guy said they were a welcome home gift." I winced a little bit, feeling my skin pull together.

"Sorry." Jason mumbled. "You think Otis or whoever the fuck knows we're going to Gotham?"

"Probably." I replied, trying not to think about the needle going in and out of my skin.

"All done." Jason stated, putting the stuff in the trash.

"Thanks." I told him, climbing off the counter.

I didn't realize how close we were to each other. His legs were almost right up against mine. I could feel the warmth of his body radiating as I stood in front of him. I felt comforted by him, I felt reassured that everything was going to be okay.

He opened his arms and I gently wrapped my arms around him. He laid his head on mine, gently rubbing my back. I let out a deep sigh, feeling more relaxed as he held me. If I could stay in this moment for the rest of my life, I would be okay with it.

I felt Jason plant a few kisses on my forehead, I smiled. He could be so sweet when he wanted to. I looked up at him and he gave a small grin. He leaned down and gently captured my lips with his. The kiss was short but I knew it was his way of saying that he wasn't going anywhere. I felt more at ease knowing that he feels the same way I do.

After we pulled away, we joined the others in the lounge area. Maverick was intently listening to every word Bruce was saying, though I know he couldn't understand a bit of it. His green eyes just sparkling as he listened to what Bruce had to say was really adorable.

"My best guess is that the old Fischer cabin is now equipped with hidden cameras." Bruce stated.

"Oh fucking hell." I mumbled, plopping down on the couch, yelping as I made contact. I forgot about my side.

"Shit, you okay?" Jason asked me, sitting next to me. I felt his hand on my shoulder.

"Never better." I winced, taking a few deep breaths.

"So, Levin and Owen watched you go in and take all the documents. Why wouldn't they have destroyed them?" Kory asked.

"They were counting on her circling back to Gotham. They were right." Bruce replied.
