"You think he mutated my little girl?"

"We don't know yet, Ada. It's just a hunch."

I was laying on a table, stickers all over me. I had IV's and things poked into my skin. All these machines were beeping and buzzing, it was weird. I've always hated going to the hospital for this particular reason. It was just a lot to handle.

Jason thinks Levin or my dad injected me with a test run of the mutagen when I was a kid. I don't ever remember getting sick or being in excrutiating pain. The people who were injected with the mutagen he's using now, judging from the footage, were in immense pain.

Bruce came back without Clark about 10 minutes ago. He helped Dick hook me up to all of these machines. One of them is measuring brain waves, another is taking count of my blood cells, and another was monitoring my cardiovascular system.

"Can you even read these?" Gar asked, looking up from his tablet. "It's making my brain hurt."

"I can't fully but I know someone who can." Bruce replied, looking at the monitors displayed across the room.

"What exactly are we looking for?" My mom asked, taking a seat next to the table.

"Abnormalities that would be consistent with the corpse I picked up that failed to mutate." He nonchalantly replied.

"What!?" My mom exclaimed.

"Bats we have gotta work on your sensitivity man." A voice said from the doorway of the batcave. The man came into the light, his red suite shining in the light. "He means with the other specimen we have, we're going to compare their charts to see if there's any consistencies."

"Holy shit...No way..." Gar gasped, his jaw dropping. "Y-You're the..the Flash..."

"Meet Barry Allen. Barry, these are the kids I was telling you about." Bruce introduced.

"I'm Loreli, this is my mom Ada." I piped up.

"Rachel."

"You know me." Dick greeted.

"And me." Jason added.

"I'm Kory."

"I'm Garfield, but you can call me Gar, or not. Completely up to you."

Barry laughed a little bit and took his mask down. Gar looked like he was completely star struck. It was cute, he looked like that when he met Superman too. He must be an even bigger superhero fan than I thought he was.

"Isn't there a little child running around here?" Barry asked, sitting down on the table across from mine. "I only ask cause Clark may have let it slip ya got a kid."

"Two, actually. My grandson and Bruce's son." My mom replied, scanning his suite.

"Bruce has a spawn!?" Barry explained.

"I have a name." Damian's voice rang out through the batcave. "It's Damian." He appeared in the doorway.

"Holy shit! He looks just like you Bruce!" Barry exclaimed, laughing a little bit.

Damian rolled his eyes and made his way over to me. He crossed his arms and stared down the heart monitor. I would have to definitely agree with Barry, he is an exact replica of his father.

"Your vital signs are all normal, nothing strange going on. Your brain activity seems to be a little off." Bruce piped up, staring at the big screen. "Let's pull up your blood tests and see if we get a match with the corpse."

I could see my mom out of the corner of my eye cringe at Bruce's words. He was never good at being sensitive and always told it like it was. I admired him for it in a way, but mostly I wanted to slap him for it. Sometimes you need a good Bruce Wayne no bullshit pep talk, but sometimes, like right now, the sensitive Bruce would be nice.
