"Oh, Omori! You found me!" Basil chirps, popping out from behind a tree. Omori turns to look at him. He showed no amusement on his face.
"Hehe, I'm so glad to see you Omori! I thought I'd be lost forever!" There were watermelons surrounding them.
"I've gotten really good at growing watermelon. I'm really glad I had those seeds with me. Otherwise I could've starved!" Omori wasn't listening.
"Are you hungry Omori? I can cut up a watermelon for you." Omori looks at the green haired boy. His stomach growls suddenly, he hadn't even realized how hungry he was.
Staring at the flower boy, his hunger only grew. Omori smiles and licks his teeth. He takes his knife from its pocket, holding it firmly.
"Oh, I can just use my shears to cut it. Thank you though!" Poor, unsuspecting Basil. He didn't see it coming.
Omori plunged his knife into the flower boy's neck, watching blood flow from the wound. Basil falls to the ground with a thud. He twitches as Omori begins taking greedy bites from his flesh.
"O-Omori? W-why?" Omori ignores him, continuing his feast. Basil's flesh was tender, sweet and juicy, much like a watermelon. Omori smiles darkly, managing to bite through the boy's bone. They were brittle, and not quite as satisfying as the meat, but he still enjoyed it.
Basil had stopped moving by now. Omori looked up at his face. He grabs his knife again and uses his free hand to open Basil's right eye. Carefully, he cuts the eye out of its socket and pops it in his mouth. It was slimy and kind of like badly made, dense gelatin. But the fresh, meaty flavor made up for it.
Omori sighs, satisfied with his meal. He stands up, wiping the blood from his mouth. Now, he had to find the key to get out of here. He's hit with a realization.
The dreamer most likely saw him. Omori hums, there's nothing he can do about it now. What's done is done. And Omori was satisfied.
