Basil is kind of a psycho in this. Just a warning.
Basil blinks. He stared at his friend, laying still on the floor. "Sunny?" He asks quietly.
No response.
"Sunny, are you okay?" He tries again, poking the other boy with his foot.
Still no response.
"Are you asleep?"
Nothing happens.
"Sunny, please wake up. You're starting to worry me."
Sunny still doesn't respond.
"I know I hurt you. I'm sorry. I can bandage your injuries back up. Just… please wake up."
Basil sits next to his friend, grabbing his hand. "Please? I promise I'll make it up to you."
There was blood everywhere. The floor, their clothes, his hands, the shears.
Basil strokes Sunny's cheek.
"Do you want me to apologize? I will if you want me to."
Sunny's hair was soft.
"I'm sorry about your eye. I'm sorry for hurting you. I'm sorry I got mad at you. I'm sorry for everything I did wrong."
Basil smiles, hoping this would help. But Sunny doesn't respond.
"Was that not enough? Sorry. I don't know what else I could do."
He frowns.
"I'll do whatever you want. I'll do anything. I'll brush your hair, make your meals, help choose your outfits, I'll even help you bathe."
His smile returns.
"I'll let you hurt me back. You can hurt me however you want. I'll let you. If it makes you happy. You can choke me, stab me, bite me, burn me. You can even take whole limbs if you like!"
His smile turned manic. He was desperate. But Sunny still ignored him.
Basil stares at the blood on them.
"I should clean you up. Bandage you up too. Would that make you happy?"
Basil doesn't wait for a reply. He stands up, attempting to pick up Sunny.
"Goodness, you're heavier than I thought!"
He chuckles. Sunny was limp in his arms. Basil ended up having to drag him into the bathroom.
Basil leans Sunny against the wall and closes the bathroom door. He removes Sunny's vest, shirt, shorts, shoes and socks, leaving his boxers on. He doesn't want to be rude and strip him completely.
The blond boy grabs a first aid kit from the cabinet, setting it beside Sunny. He takes a hand towel and soaks it in water, squeezing it so that it isn't too wet.
Sitting back beside Sunny, Basil begins cleaning the blood off of his friend's pale skin.
"You're so skinny. Have you been eating? I'll make a nice, healthy breakfast in the morning for you. I promise."
Once all the blood was cleaned, he sets aside the now bloody rag and opens the first aid kit. He places small bandaids on the smaller cuts, and places cotton and gauze over the larger ones.
Basil looks up at Sunny's eye. He places a folded piece of cotton on it, wrapping the gauze around his head to keep it in place. He smiles.
"There. All better. I'll go get you some clean clothes. Then you can rest in my bed."
