An apprentice engineer, being taught by Mari. She's confused how much knowledge Mari has on robots and coding, but goes along with it. Do not ask her to cook. Trust me. (Her cooking won't kill you, it'll just taste like death aka not pleasant)
Mari | she/they | afab
A well taught engineer. Keeps her brother from going into shambles. Trying to hide the fact that her brother is a robot from anyone who doesn't already know. (Spoiler alert, she fails)
Kel | he/she | amab
He deals with a variety of jobs but does them all very well. Works with glass, wood, metal etc. Makes killer coffee. (No it won't kill someone) He's a bit suspicious of Mari, she's been acting weird as of late.
Hero | he/him | afab
Housewife lmao. He stays home while Mari works on her projects. He often has to drag her to bed because she passed out from lack of sleep. He's more worried about her than weirded out by her strange behavior.
Basil | he/him | amab
He's the owner of a small coffee shop. He lets Kel help him manage the shop even though he still thinks he doesn't need the help. (He's more worried about distracting Kel from his own work) He's the only other person who knows about Sunny.
Sunny | he/him | amab (a machine at birth)
He's a robot now. He died. His father made a robot replica of him because he could. Him and Mari keep him ‘alive’. He has a power button on his back just below his neck, it's usually covered up by his clothes. He also has a charging port beside his power button. Electricity powered. He's surprisingly lifelike. (Dead Sunny is probably pissed off about this new robo Sunny. He's in his grave like: >:O)
Plot or whatever I guess
So basically, Sunny dies of unknown causes, no one knows about his death besides his family and Basil for some reason. Mari begs her father to create a literal replica of her brother so no one finds out she accidentally murdered him along with Basil. And now life is happy again because Sunny's not dead I guess? But like, he's still dead and extremely pissed off because he just got replaced by a robotic metallic bitch that looks like him but metally-er. But that's not important cuz the real Sunny is dead. All that matters is hyper-realistic-robo-Sunny-3000-that-isn't-actually-3000. But now Mari has to hide the fact that her brother is now a robot and totally not buried in her backyard with flowers growing over it to hide the fact that there's a dead body, specifically Sunny's dead body, buried there. Who will find out. Who knows. Me. I know.
I apologize for how badly this is written. Not my best work, but then again it is my best if you consider the creative block I'm in right now.
I couldn't stop thinking about android Sunny so I did this. Been thinking about Markus from Detroit: become human :b
