Chapter 4

"I can't believe your taking Damon to the founder's party. What about me?" Chelsea asks.

"Go with Elena." Caroline states.

"She's asking Stefan." Chelsea replies.

"Then go with Bonnie." Caroline says.

"But she is a terrible date." Chelsea says before dodging the arm that her sister sends her way.

"Rude." Her sister huffs. "What about you mom? Is she okay with you bringing Damon?"

"And I'm supposed to care why?" Caroline asks incredulously.

"He's older sexy danger guy." Bonnie points out.

"Exactly just remove the sexy part and Bonnie as him down to a tee." Chelsea agrees with her sister.

"Older sexy danger guy? Is that an official witch twitter tweet?" Caroline questions.

"No more witch jokes, okay? That whole Mr Tanner prediction thing has me freaked." Bonnie states.

"Agreed." Chelsea agrees.

"Okay. And Damon's not dangerous. You know, he just has a lot of issues with his brother." Caroline starts.

"Understatement of the century." Chelsea says.

"You know, like major, deep-rooted drama." Caroline continues whilst ignoring Chelsea's comment.

"Like...?" Bonnie asks.

"I'm not really supposed to say anything." Caroline states.

"Caroline Forbes, when have you ever kept a secret in your life?" Bonnie inquires.

"She keeps my secrets." Chelsea points out.

"Thank you...you can't tell Elena." Caroline thanks Chelsea before immediately proving Bonnie right.

"No." Bonnie replies whilst Chelsea mimes zipping her lips.

"I don't think we should tell her." Chelsea tells Bonnie from where she is lying down on Elena's bed. They are helping Elena get dressed up for her date with Stefan, or they were until someone knocked on the front door.

"Well, I think your wrong. So, I'm gonna tell her." Bonnie replies.

Elena enters the room and Bonnie immediately shows off two bottle of nail polish.

"Delicate flower vs naughty vixen." Bonnie says.

"Tough call. Can we mix them?" Elena asks.

"Look at you, getting pretty for your date. You seem happy...ish." Bonnie tells Elena.

"I am...ish. Tonight's going to be a good night. But don't let that stop you from telling me whatever it is you wanted to tell me as soon as you walked in the door." Elena calls the girl out.

"What if I tell you in the morning? I don't want to ruin the night." Bonnie asks.

"Or how about telling her never, it sounds like a load to crap anyway." Chelsea states.

"Bonnie out with it." Elena demands.

"Okay, but it was to go in the vault, because Caroline will kill me if it gets back to Damon that she squealed. Apparently, Stefan has a very interesting back story." Bonnie starts.

"Uh-huh" Elena urges Bonnie to continue.

"Do you know what happened to their ex-girlfriend Katherine?" Bonnie asks.

"She was a slut who dated both brothers, why does it matter what happened to them. No, you know what I will place a bet now that the reason that they have such a messed-up relationship is because Katherine was manipulative." Chelsea states her thoughts.
