Chapter 22

Chelsea wakes up to a phone ringing incessantly.

"Noooo." Chelsea moans as she tries to hide her head in her pillow.

She hears a thump.

"Go away!" Caroline exclaims annoyed,

The ringing finally stops which Chelsea is greatly happy with until she hears, "Hello?"

Chelsea, Bonnie and Caroline lift their heads to stare at Elena in annoyance.

"Shhh." Bonnie shushes.

"Elena!" Caroline exclaims.

"Go away." Chelsea groans.

Elena cawls out of the room to the girl's joy as they all lay their heads back on their pillows and try to go back off to sleep. Try being the key word.

"I'm going to kill her and whoever called her." Chelsea grumbles quietly.

"Me first." Caroline states.

"Get in line." Bonnie says.

The girls lie on their backs and stare up at the ceiling for a while before they get up.

Chelsea manages to make it to the bathroom first, so she quickly answers the call of nature before allowing Bonnie and Caroline to fight over who gets to go next.

While they do that Chelsea gets out her clothes that she is planning to wear today. A blouse and some jeans. Before she heads into the kitchen prepared to find breakfast.

"Are you sticking around for breakfast or is whoever called you coming to pick you up now?" Chelsea asks Elena.

"I have time for breakfast, but we need to make it quick. Stefan is coming to pick me up soon. We are going to go to my parents' old lake house." Elena informs.

"Is that who called you?" Caroline queries as she enters the room, obviously being the one who made it into the bathroom before Bonnie.

"Yeah, he wanted to see how I was doing and if I wanted to get away for a bit." Elena explains.

"And he couldn't have done that at a later time of day? Like 10 instead of..." Caroline checks the clock on the wall. "It's not even 8 yet!" She exclaims when she sees the time.

"You think Damon will mind if we kill his brother?" Chelsea inquires.

"Not if it means he gets Elena all to himself." Caroline says.

"Caroline!" Bonnie exclaims as she enters the room, chastising the blond.

"It's not like that." Elena states.

"Sure, it isn't." Chelsea mocks.

"It isn't." Elena exclaims.

Chelsea, Bonnie and Caroline are sitting in the grill going over the plan that Bonnie has cooked up.

"Okay. So, tell me about this big, witchy plan you've been cooking up." Caroline says.

"We still don't know the extent of what Elijah's up to." Bonnie points out.

"No, we don't." Caroline and Chelsea nod their heads.

"So, I'm gonna ask Luka to tell me what he knows." Bonnie states.

"And he's not gonna tell you anything." Caroline says.

"I didn't say he was gonna have a choice." Bonnie reveals.

Caroline looks past Bonnie's shoulder to stare at Matt.
