Chelsea wakes up after a long night talking with Bex about how much of a traitor asshole her brother is. Apparently, it was Klaus that killed their mother a thousand years ago and not Mikael. Chelsea spent most of the previous night trying to help Bex talk through her emotions. It was exhausting, the blond flitting from emotion to emotion as she went between angry, sad, devastated, calm and even understanding at one point but she always, always flicked back to angry.
Chelsea isn't even really sure how Bex found out that Klaus was the person responsible for killing their mother. She had tried asking but all she got back was some mumbling, Elena's name was mentioned which set off a lot of red flags for Chelsea, but she was too busy focusing on Bex to care.
By the end of the day, she will be kicking herself for not asking more questions about Elena's role in it.
Anyway, Chelsea wakes up exhausted after spending most of the night trying to calm Bex, to the sound of whispers in her ears. Many whispers. Witchy whispers. Chelsea hadn't heard them for a while and had honestly wondered if the powers that give her some premonition abilities had forsaken her considering her bond with Klaus and Elijah.
Original, witch, Death.
Those are not words that Chelsea wishes to hear, considering that the only original currently in town is Bex and the only witches in town are her and her sister. Chelsea is left, lying in bed, looking at the ceiling and wishing once again for her premonition abilities to be a little bit clearer. Sighing Chelsea gets up from bed and reaches over to her phone. She sends her sister and Bex a message, letting them know about the whispers and to please be careful.
She gets a message back from both of them quickly stating that they will be careful. Something about Bex's message leaves her feeling...out of the loop. Like the blond knows something. It sets Chelsea further on edge.
She gets pulled out of her worrying by a text from Caroline.
'Don't forget that we have homecoming today. I expect you to be there.' – Caroline
'Don't worry, I'll be there.' – Chelsea
Chelsea places her phone down and struggles to sit up in her bed. once she manages to get up and moving, she heads over to her wardrobe and looks at her clothes. She hasn't gone dress shopping for homecoming, and she isn't going shopping today, she does not have the energy. So instead, she has to pick out something she already owns.
Looking through her wardrobe, Chelsea's eyes keep drawing themselves back to the dress. The dress that she wore in Chicago, the backless red dress that hugged her curves just right and made her feel sexy and confident. She promised herself that Klaus would never see her in that dress again. Good thing he's not in town.

Chelsea is all dressed up and preparing to leave the house when she gets word that the school gymnasium has flooded.
"Does this mean I got dressed up for nothing?" Chelsea asks, quietly seething. It took her hours to get her makeup just right and to find the right bra to wear in this dress.
"No, Tyler is moving the party to his house. Homecoming is still happening. Hey, do you want me to pick you up?" Caroline offers.
"That would be lovely, thank you. There is no way I could drive in these heels." Chelsea agrees.
"What dress did you end up wearing?" Caroline inquires.
"You'll just have to find out when you get here." Chelsea taunts.
"You're evil, love you. See you soon." Caroline hollers before hanging up.

Caroline gushed over Chelsea's dress, the blond was equal parts jealous and impressed. She drove both Chelsea and Bonnie to the Lockwood mansion. All the way there Bonnie kept giving Chelsea this look that Chelsea couldn't decipher. It was bugging her. But she didn't want to get into a fight with her sister today, so she kept silent.
