After Bonnie, Caroline and Jeremy found out about her being soulmates with Klaus and Elijah, the Salvatore's and Elena found out soon after and since then she hasn't heard much from anyone.

She knew this would happen, which is why she didn't tell anybody. They don't trust her anymore. They think this soulmate whatever is going to affect her judgment and ability to help the group keep Elena safe and that just isn't true.

She may have been willing to believe Elijah at first, but the man lied about making sure that Elena won't die. So, what else could he be lying about. She doesn't trust him. She will never trust him.

At least that is what she tells herself, soulmates aren't real, and Elijah is a lying liar who lies. The end.

Except that day she has two bouts of extreme heart wrenching pain, the first one ending quickly but the second one taking hours until she feels like she can even move again. And what does she learn from Bonnie the next day, Damon found a weapon to take out Elijah. And while the first attempt to use the weapon went wrong the second attempt stuck.

And if Chelsea were honest, she would admit that she can still feel it. Like something is stuck in her heart, making her whole body ache. But she isn't honest, so she just pretends it's because she slept wrong that night and carries on with her day.

Chelsea is now at school, standing by her open locker as Stefan informs her, Bonnie and Jeremy about Katherine's escape from the tomb.

"She's out of the tomb?" Bonnie asks.

"Yeah. we're dealing with it, all right? Just be extra careful. She's gotten a little too good at impersonating Elena." Stefan warns.

"With Katherine still around, we gotta find a way to get your powers back." Jeremy tells Bonnie.

"What do you mean get your powers back? What the hell happened to your powers?" Chelsea questions as she looks at her twin.

"It's nothing...just...Mr Martin took exception to what we did to Luka and...he took my powers away." Bonnie admits.

"Yeah, about that, I want to get the Martins on our side. I want to figure out a way for us all to work together now that Elijah's out of the picture." Stefan informs while looking at Chelsea to see if she will have any reaction to him mentioning Elijah.

Chelsea looks at Stefan in the eyes and raises an eyebrow and giving him a face that screams 'bitch really'.

"It's impossible. They hate us." Bonnie points out.

"It's either win them over or somebody's going to end up dead. You think you can at least convince them to have a civil conversation?" Stefan inquires.

"I'll try." Bonnie sighs.

"Thanks. Keep me posted." Stefan says before walking away from them.

"Did you see the way he looked at me when he mentioned Elijah, it's like he expects me turn traitor or something." Chelsea tells her sister angrily.

"That's not true." Bonnie placates.

"Yes, it is, he doesn't trust me anymore because of some apparent spell that we know nothing about. It could be absolute bullshit for all we know." Chelsea huffs as she takes out books from her locker.

"He's just being cautious, with everything that is going on we can't risk anything." Bonnie tries to explain.

"And now I'm a risk. Lovely." Chelsea states before she walks off heading to class, hand against her heart trying to sooth the ache.
