Chapter 21

Chelsea ended up staring at the painting until Bonnie came back home. At which point the twins got into an argument about Chelsea just disappearing when Bonnie needed her, which lead to Chelsea explaining what happened to her that day. About how Elena was on a suicide mission and Damon dragged her along to help put a stop to her stupidity and how surprise Elijah is alive.

Bonnie then told Chelsea what happened to her and Jeremy being a self-sacrificing idiot and then Stefan deciding to be an even bigger self-sacrificing idiot. And now Stefan is trapped in the tomb with Katherine. Bonnie also told her about trying to do the spell and channelling Luka.

Chelsea wouldn't admit it out loud, but she was kind of proud that her sister did that to Luka, she truly didn't trust the boy.

Chelsea also showed Bonnie the paintings and explained that she barely even remembers the painting process, just that one minute she starts with a white canvas and at the end she ends up with three eyes. Her's, Elijah's (apparently) and an unknown eye.

Bonnie promised that they would try and find out what is meant before the girls decided to go to bed.

Now Chelsea and Bonnie are in Elena's bedroom setting up a trap to see if Elena will take the bait.

"Now that you've got this back, what are you gonna do with it?" Elena asks as she hold the moonstone.

"Right now, it's what is binding the sun and the moon curse. If I can figure out a way to remove the spell from the stone, the stone becomes useless." Bonnie informs.

"And according to Katherine, Klaus becomes vengeful." Elena points out.

"Only if he finds out. which we won't if you stop trying to get yourself killed." Chelsea states.

"Guys, can't this wait? Stefan is stuck in the tomb with Katherine. We've got to get him out." Elena asks.

"Stefan wants us to focus on this." Bonnie informs.

"Don't listen to him. He thinks that he's protecting me, but he's wrong." Elena pleads.

"I'm taking Stefan's side with this one. We're not gonna let you get used in some creepy sacrifice ritual." Bonnie states.

"What are you guys arguing about?" Jeremy asks when he shows up in Leena's bedroom doorway.

"We're not arguing about anything." Bonnie says as she takes the moonstone and places it in her bag.

"Well, I need coffee." Chelsea exclaims. "Or maybe tea...do you think Jenna has tea?"

Chelsea walks out of the bedroom and makes her way downstairs, Bonnie following along behind her.

"How long do you think it's going to take?" Chelsea asks her sister.

"About when we've finished making our coffee and...tea." Bonnie says as she pulls out the tea bags.

"Yes! Go Jenna." Chelsea cheers as she starts making her tea and Bonnie's coffee.

Just after Chelsea has finished pouring the water for here tea, Chelsea and Bonnie hear footsteps coming down the stairs.

"Where are you going?" Chelsea calls out as she brings her tea with her to the bottom of the stairs.

"Um, to see Stefan." Elena answers.

"You're lying." The twins say at the same time.

"No, I'm not." Elena denies.

"Really? Tell your face." Bonnie says.

"Are you serious?" Elena asks, angrily.

Jeremy joins the group from the top of the stairs.

"She took the moonstone." Jeremy states.
