Chelsea is standing outside, in front of the school with Caroline on her left and Bonnie on her right. Elena is stood on the right of Bonnie with a scarf around her neck. Chelsea isn't sure how exactly she's supposed to go back to being a normal high school student after everything. She is wearing some of the clothes that Klaus bought her. A gorgeous red blouse that matches her hair and some black high waisted shorts.
"Here we are. Senior year." Caroline exclaims, sounding strained.
"Anyone else think it should feel slightly more empowering?" Bonnie asks.
"Honestly I'm just happy to be here instead of somewhere across the country." Chelsea says.
"And were happy to have you." Caroline tells her.
Elena scoffs and Chelsea decides to ignore the brunette...for now.
"Okay, so, prank night was a bust. But we are accepting it, and we are moving on." Caroline says, trying to be upbeat.
"You're right. I mean, why should I let the fact that my boyfriend is seeing the ghost of his dead girlfriends hinder this experience?" Bonnie asks sarcastically.
"Yes! And why should I let the fact that my boyfriend was turned into a hybrid put a damper on an otherwise fabulous day." Caroline adds on.
"Today's our anniversary. Technically, Stefan and I met on the first day of school last year." Elena sulks.
"My soulmates are two original vampires that murder, lie and torture to get their way and are literally responsible for all of your relationship drama." Chelsea points out.
"Yeah...you win." Caroline tells Chelsea.
"Do you want to be here?" Bonnie asks Elena.
"I have to be here. I have to put it behind me. New year. New life." Elena huffs before walking off towards school.
"Are you sure that you want to be here?" Caroline questions Chelsea.
"Yeah sure...what would you do without your favourite co-captain?" Chelsea jokes.
Caroline and Chelsea join arms before walking towards school.

Chelsea and Caroline are going around the school and putting up flyer to remind the students of the 'spirit squad back-to-school bonfire'. Chelsea is personally surprised that the school allows them to put up posters for what is basically an excuse to get drunk but she's not going to look into it.
"I forgot about the bonfire." Elena says when she spots them putting up another poster.
"You have to go. It's our first spirit squad event. And it sets the bar for the whole year." Caroline reminds.
"Relax Caroline. I'll be there." Elena smiles.
"Thank you. It's just that..." Caroline gets cut off by Tyler arriving and pulling her into a kiss.
"Happy first day!" Tyler exclaims.
Elena and Chelsea look at each other awkwardly before turning back to the couple.
"IS that blood?" Chelsea asks when she spots a stain on Tyler's t-shirt.
"Oh my god!" Caroline exclaims before dragging Tyler into the boy's bathroom.
Cheslea and Elena follow them in and quickly check the stalls to make sure that they are empty.
"What's going on?!" Tyler questions.
"Vampire 101... don't wear your breakfast to school!" Caroline scolds.
"Chill out. It was just a blood bag." Tyler huffs.
