"Chelsea. Chelsea. Chelsea." She hears a voice calling her out from her sleep.

"What?" Chelsea asks as she opens her eyes to see Elena's face only a couple of centimetres in front of hers.

"Shh." Elena shushes. "Come on. Follow me."

"A) no I just woke up, B) Noooo I just woke up and C) I have no clothes here." Chelsea moans quietly.

"I brought you some clothes. No get up." Elena demands in a hushed tone.

"God you're such a bitch. Why am I friends with you again?" Chelsea mutters angrily as she gets up out of bed and starts changing into the clothes Elena brought her. They are too tight, and the top makes her feel like her breasts are going to jump out at any second. Why did Elena have to be so skinny?

"Hey." Elena huffs before pulling Chelsea out of the room and down the stairs. Then down another hallway and another set of stairs.

"Why are we in the basement?" Chelsea asks.

"Shh." Elena shushes her again.

Chelsea watches Elena open the door to the cell and follows her in. She chokes on her breath when she sees Elijah lying on the floor, suit a mess, with grey veins running over his face. Her feet start going forwards before she has a chance to realise what she's doing. Bringing her hand up she places it on the handle of the dagger and pulls.

"What are you doing?" Elena inquires.

"Are you telling me that the reason you woke me up and brought me down here isn't because you were planning on waking him up?" Chelsea queries.

"I mean yes I just..." Elena trails off.

"You didn't expect me to pull a dagger out of my soulmate? Or is it that you wanted to do it so you could be the one to save the day?" Chelsea asks.

Elena stays silent and instead moves to sit down next to Chelsea as they wait for Elijah to awaken.

"How do..." Elena starts but pauses for long enough for Chelsea to get impatient.

"How do I what, Elena?" Chelsea pushes.

"How do you feel knowing that we are planning on killing one of your soulmates?" Elena questions.

"I don't...I haven't really thought about it much. But when I think of Klaus, I don't feel anything. Now that could just be because I haven't met him. When I met Elijah, I felt...something and now the idea of him being dead terrifies me. So as long as I don't meet Klaus in his actual body, I should be good. I just hope I won't feel him die." Chelsea states.

"Feel him die?" Elena asks.

"Oh, yeah. I woke up gasping for breath with this horrid pain in my chest when Elijah was daggered the second time. The first time I was awake, and it felt more like heart burn but that second time. I thought I was dying." Chelsea admits.

"I had no idea. I'm sorry." Elena apologises.

"It's not your fault. And it's not like I told anyone about it after it happened. Didn't want to be labelled as more of a traitor." Chelsea mutters at the end.

A sudden gasping is heard causing the girls to turn and look at Elijah, who had his eyes open wide as he gasped for breath whilst looking around.

"Elijah." Elena calls out.

"Chelsea?" Elijah asks as he looks at her face.

"Yes Elijah, I'm here. You're awake. You're okay." Chelsea reassures at Elijah's panicked look.

Elijah seems to calm down at that, but he is still gasping for breath.

"I can't...I can't breathe! What's happening to me?" Elijah inquires as he gets up and rushes over to the door of the cell. "I can't...I can't be in this house."
