Chapter 13

Chelsea and Bonnie rush over to Matt the moment they see him. When they got the call that Caroline was in the hospital after a car accident, they were worried and drove over immediately.

"Is she okay? Please tell me she's okay." Chelsea asks Matt once she is close enough to him.

"She's not good, Chels." Matt tells her causing her to slump down in the seat next to him.

"What happened?" Bonnie inquires when it's clear that Chelsea isn't in a position to ask.

"We were driving, and Tyler heard this noise and he got..." Matt trails off.

Chelsea's head whips up when she hears what Matt just said.

"A noise?" She asks.

"He got this migraine or something and he lost control of the car and...I thought that Caroline was fine and then...and then she wasn't so..." Matt seems at a loss for what to say so Chelsea brings him into a hug and just hold him tight.

"Sorry, excuse me." Matt says eventually as he gets up looking suspiciously moist eyed.

"Bonnie. How's Caroline?" Elena asks when she comes over to the two of them.

"She's weak. They don't know if she's going to make it." Bonnie tells Elena.

"What?" Elena questions, speechlessly.

Chelsea is sitting in the seat and staring at Caroline's room trying desperately not to cry. She can't cry right now. I won't help anything.

"Is there something that you can do? Like a spell or something?" Elena inquires.

"She doesn't know how, do you?" Damon asks.

"No, I don't." Bonnie admits.

"No, you don't because it took Emily years to learn a spell like that." Damon taunts.

"Well, I can take down a vampire, that spell was easy to learn." Bonnie points out.

"Can you both stop it! My best friend is in the hospital, she might be dying and don't need this time filled with either of your guy's snippy bullshit." Chelsea snaps at both of them.

They both go quiet for a while and Damon watches as Chelsea takes a shuddering breath.

"I can give Caroline some blood." Damon offers.

Chelsea's head snaps over to him.

"No, no way." Elena denies.

"No, just enough to heal her. She will be safe in the hospital, and it will be out of her system in a day, she will be better Elena." Damon tries to convince her.

"It's too risky, I can't agree to that." Elena disagrees.

"Who gives a fuck if you agree to it, Elena. Damon, please, do it." Chelsea snaps at Elena before begging Damon.

"Do it." Bonnie agrees with Chelsea before turning to Elena, "This is Caroline. We can't let her die. Do it."

"If I do this, you and me, call a truce?" Damon offers Bonnie.

"No. But you'll do it anyway. For Elena." Bonnie taunts before walking away.

"Damon, please...just do it." Chelsea begs whilst staring at Damon. she doesn't turn away to follow after her sister until she sees Damon nod.

Bonnie dragged Chelsea back home last night or else she would have spent the whole time waiting outside of Caroline's room. Chelsea didn't want to leave but Bonnie promised that they would come back first thing in the morning. Which is what they are doing now.
