"We've been framed for murder?"

It is the first thing Dara hears when she enters the room, the doors completely bursting open as her arms still tremble, but the brown iris' of her eyes still have a fight no one in the room could tackled, let alone, gain any sense of a the upper hand.

Guns are drawn, Dreesen is standing in confusion until it all clicks for him... especially the lack of chains keeping the interesting Grisha from using her most wondrous abilities. Her browns eyes lock onto Dreesen, a, what should seem innocent, head tilt comes out of her as she takes one step after the other and lifts her hand...

The chains click. They are unlatched.

Kaz glances her way, her eyes immediately locking right onto his. Despite the determination, Kaz Brekker has to get their lives back into the motion of as it was before... there is a soften just for her. He places his hands up lightly, Dara taking a deep breath as Jesper is now more comfort in his seat, smirking gleefully like the idiot he is.

Dara rolls his eyes at his blunt taunt to Dreesen's men, taunting them to take any course of action since they know full and well none of them will succeed with Dara Leovolt in the room.

"Continue," Kaz brits.

"I'm not asking about that," Dreesen's eyes go from Dara to Kaz, "Where is Alina Starkov?"

Kaz lets a beat pass by, "we don't have her."

"Obviously," Jesper states, glancing to Dreesen to which his eyes go to Kaz who is seriously debating on whether or not having the idiot in the room is the brightest idea.

Jesper sighs, motioning dramatically with those hands of his.

"You left with an advance on my million kruge with passage on my ship. And you dare to return empty-handed."

Dreesen takes a step, Dara taking a larger one. She stands right behind Kaz... and it is a different sense of display. Before, it would have been Kaz Brekker, the Bastard of the Barrel claiming his power over his word and the people he invests in... yet this scene right here.

Kaz Brekker still in his seat, Dara Leovolt right behind them and it is no longer just the power of Kaz Brekker which takes the room by the air, no, it is the power of him and Dara Leovolt; a Grisha with an ability that is only heard within the stories and words in between those of Sun and Shadow Summoners.

The two make the power and density in the room amplify, suffocate... a dangerous pair. It feels good to the both of them, their shoulder's back, their spines as straight as they could make them, and their chins almost to the ceiling as neither of them break eye contact with Dreesen.
