On a sunny memorial day, Sarah was home cleaning her house while listening to music. Suddenly, a guy came knocking on her door looking for the person which was blasting the music. She opened the door to see what did the guy want from her.
"Who is it?", she asked
"Your neighbor", he said
"What is your name?", she asked
"Emmanuel", he said
"What do you want?", she asked
"I want you to turn down your volume. It's too loud", he said
"Why would I turn it down? ", she asked
"You're disturbing the whole neighborhood with your loud music", he said
"Was it the whole neighborhood that is disturbed or was it just you that is disturbed?", she asked
"The whole neighborhood", he said
"Well if they are disturbed by the music I'm blasting they should come to me themselves then", she said
"I'm speaking on behalf of everyone", he said
"Good for you but I'm not turning it down", she said
"See it yourself, don't say I didn't tell you", he said
"Whatever", she said
He went back to his house to come up with a plan. He came up with a plan and left. He gathered the neighbors to head towards her house.
They got to her and banged on the door. She opened the door and they attacked her. They smashed her boombox to ashes and left.
"Nooo, not my boombox", she yelled
"Don't say I didn't tell you so", he said
"I have plenty of backup boomboxes in my house. One attack can't stop me from playing my music loudly", she said
"We'll see about that", he said
He walked away mysteriously. She pondered what he could be planning. She continued playing her music.
An hour later, he shows up with the police with a noise complaint. The police knock on the door and she wonders who's at the door. She opened the door and to her surprise, it was the police.
"Hello, officer, how may I help you?", she asked
"I received a complaint about you", he said
"What type of complaint?", she asked
"A noise complaint", he said
"From who?", she asked
"One of your neighbors Mr. Raymond", he said
"Listen officer I know you're doing your job but I can tell you that my music isn't bothering anyone but him. He brought the whole neighborhood to my house to attack me and broke my boombox. If there's anyone you need to talk to it's him, not me. If there's anything else you need to ask me to feel free to call me. Thank you officer and have a good night", she said
The officer was shocked at what she said about Mr. Raymond. He asked him a lot of questions regarding what she said. The officer suggested to Mr. Raymond that if he's bothered by the music he should buy noise-canceling headphones and go to sleep.
He was so shocked at what the officer did that he walked towards his house. The officer got in his car and left to go back home.
The next morning, he came by her house to ask her a question. He waited patiently until she answered the door to talk. Unfortunately, she didn't answer the door so he walked away.
Two hours later, he came to see if she was awake to talk to her. Luckily, he had a pen and paper to write down what he wanted to ask her. He wrote, "Will you go out with me? Check either yes or no". He slid it under the door to wait until she wrote her answer.
As time went by, she finally woke up and saw a note on the floor. She wondered if it was from Mr. Raymond but she doubted it. She thought it was from one of the cute neighbors that came to attack her the other day.
She checked yes and slid it under the door as she had no idea what she just agreed to on the paper. He took the paper to run to his house to celebrate. She turned on the tv to watch her shows.
Three hours later, he came to pick her up from her house to be on their way to the date. He knocked to see if she was ready and she answered the door. She saw it was Mr. Raymond again that came to annoy her.
"Ugh, what do you want?", she asked
"I came to pick you up for our date", he said
"What date?", she asked
"Didn't you read the note that was slid under your door?", he asked
"Yes I did read the note and I thought it was from the cute neighbor", she said
"It wasn't from the cute neighbor. It was from me", he said
"Ew why did you slide that note under my door?", she asked
"I wanted to ask you out but was too afraid to say it so I wrote it and slide it under the door", he said
"Ew why would I go out with you?", she asked
"Am I not your type of guy?", he asked
"Hell no", she said
"Well too bad you already agreed so let's go", he said
"Nooo, I don't want to go and you can't make me", she said
"I sure can, so now let's go. Don't make me carry you to the car", he said
He carried her to his car and left. They went to a book convention to discuss books. Unfortunately, she was becoming bored so she told him a lie.
She went to where she told him she was going. she went somewhere else when he wasn't looking and left. He checked the time to see if she was done but never came back,
He realized that he was lied to and left the convention. She was in her bed watching her shows til she fell asleep. He knocked on her door and got no answer.
He waited all night for an explanation. She fell asleep while he was outside. He went to his house to sleep as he realized there was no need to wait for an explanation.
