One day Sarah woke up and felt lonely on her bed. She picked up her phone and downloaded a dating app "Plenty of Fish". She set up her profile the way she wanted it to be and waited for a response.

Moments later, a response came in and she saw it was from someone. Apparently, it was from someone. She had no idea who that was so she checked his profile.

She decided to send him a message to see what he would say. He sees the message and sends a message back. As she is reading the message, she smiles because she thinks he may be the one.

"You are beautiful"

"Thank you"

"What is your name?"

"Lamont"

"Interesting name"

"What is your name?"

"Sarah"

"Beautiful name for a beautiful girl"

"Thank you"

"You're welcome. What brings you to this app?"

"Well, I just can't find the one so I decided to see if I can find it here"

"Ah ok it seems like that for everyone on this app"

"Yeah probably"

"How come you are on this app?"

"Well, to be really honest most of the girls where I am are not my type"

"So you decided to try this app?"

"Understandable. We can never find our types these days."

"Yeah, what is your type ?"

"Well, it's someone who is down to earth, good vibes... um plenty of other things that I can't remember"

"I see. What is your type?"

"My type?"

"Yeah, your type"

"Um I don't think I have one"

"You probably have one but just don't know what it is yet"

"I do have expectations of at least I want them to be"

"Really?"

"I have never heard of someone having expectations of how a guy is supposed to look"

"Really?

"Yeah this is the first time I have heard of this"

"Did I shock you?"

"Yeah, you did. I honestly have no words"

"I don't know if you want me to tell you or not"

"Me neither"

"Um yeah let me not say it"

"Yeah that's a great idea"

"So what do you do for fun?"

"I'm an artist. I love to draw"

"Wow, can I see a few?"

"Well I don't normally show people my art but"

"But for me, you will"

"Sure why not"

"Yay"

"It's not finished but here goes"

He takes a picture of a few artworks and sends it to her. She looks at them while he is awaiting her response. She tells him how much she likes the artwork he shares with her.

"They are beautiful and very creative"

"You really think so"

"Yes I do"

"Well thank you. No one has ever taken such time to really admire the beauty of it and compliment me before"

"Then that makes me the first"

"Yes it does"

"So....?"

"So um I didn't get to ask you what do you do for fun?"

"Well, I just listen to music, watch movies, and hang out with friends."

"Ah interesting"

"Yeah"

"I see we are very different"

"Opposites attract, doesn't it?"

"Well sometimes it does and other times it doesn't"

"True. I guess there's no use in mentioning I work in a big office"

"Yuck working in an office sucks"

"No it doesn't"

"You have your opinion and I have mine"

"Very true and I respect it"

"Good then I guess we have nothing else to talk about"

"Yup nothing else"

"Goodbye"

"Goodbye"

She realizes how different they are and how it is very awkward. She wanted to give him a chance but couldn't decide. She decided to leave a message in case he changed his mind.

She looks at the time and calls it a day. She had realized that she had spent all day talking to him. She closed her eyes and went to sleep.
