Mason had finally come up with a plan. He knew the exact time Giselle got off of work, so he sat outside in his car waiting. Once he seen her walking out, he turned on his radio and her favorite song began to play. He had the radio loud enough for her to hear it.

When she seen him, she practically ran over to him with a smile on her face. Her heart skipped a beat when Mason began to sing along to the song, as he held her hands and looked into her eyes.

'I guess you'd say
What can make me feel this way?
My Girl
I'm talking 'bout my girl'

When the song ended, Giselle's eyes were glistening with happy tears, and a grin stayed plastered on her lips. Mason let go of her hands and turned to his car. He reached through the window to turn off the radio, before grabbing the bouquet of lilies, a small bag with her favorite candy and soda, as well as a small jewelery box. He handed the flowers and bag to her, before he opened the jewelery box and held it out for her to see.

"Giselle Grape, I would really like for you to be my girlfriend," He commented, pulling the necklace with a heart surrounded by diamonds out of the box,"and I hope you say yes, and accept this necklace to say that you are mine." He said, and she nodded.

"I would love to be your girlfriend, Mason Glover." She replied, causing him to smile as well.

Mason stepped behind her and clasped the necklace gently around her neck. Giselle set her flowers and bag down, before she turned around and wrapped her arms around Mason's neck loosely. He wrapped his arms around her waist, hugging her to his body.

"The necklace is beautiful, Mason, I absolutely love it." Giselle said, and Mason chuckled.

"I was hoping you would, since I didn't know if you liked jewelery." He replied, making her laugh.

"I love jewelery, I just don't have much. It's a bit too expensive for me." She answered, and he smiled.

"Well, than I'll buy you whatever jewelery you want." He said, kissing her cheek softly.

The two stood in each other's embrace for a bit, before Giselle slowly pulled away. She knew she couldn't stay out much longer, otherwise Momma and Gilbert might have a fit. Momma would because she'd think something happened to Giselle, and Gilbert would because he'd know she was up to something.

"I've gotta get home." Giselle commented, and Mason nodded.

"I know," He murmured,"I'll see you tomorrow." He added, leaving a kiss on her cheek.

Mason waited until Giselle was out of sight, before he climbed into his own car and drove home. He wished that the two didn't have to sneak around, but he knew that she was probably worried about her family's reaction, since he remembered how adamant Gilbert was for him to stay away. Mason had obviously gone against everything Gilbert said, which would definitely anger the girl's brother.

"You're a bit late." Amy commented, as she set out a plate of dinner for Giselle.

"Yeah, sorry. Mrs. Gertrude was in there getting her medicine. You know just how slow she can be, and she was taking her sweet time, even though it was just about closing time," Giselle lied,"and don't even get me started on the extra time it took, as she asked the same questions about her medicines for the third time this month." She added, which had been true, only Mrs. Gertrude had been around earlier in the day.

"Mrs. Gertrude's husband will eventually start picking up the medicine himself. He just wants to give his wife a little more time to have freedom, before she completely becomes dependent on him." Amy replied, as if she was trying to explain why the old lady was the way she was.

Giselle ate her cold-ish dinner, as Amy washed dishes. This was how it worked almost every night, except for the part where Giselle came home late. Most of the time Giselle was on time, and her food would've been a bit warmer.

"Nice necklace." Amy commented, causing Giselle's eyes to widen.

"Oh, thanks," She answered, realizing she forgot to hide it,"You remember the girl I told Gilbert about?" She asked, and her sister nodded,"She dropped it off earlier. She said it was a gift from her, since she wasn't sure when she'd be back, or if she ever planned to come back. I honestly miss her, since she was practically my best friend during school." Giselle lied, hating the fact that she had to lie so much.

"I bet you'll see her again one day." Amy said, though she wasn't sure if she was saying it to make her sister feel better, or to make herself feel better.

While Giselle was hanging out with her sister, Mason was working on his car. Some nights he'd be up until two or three in the morning working on his car, though the car was practically in perfect condition. If it hadn't been obvious, Mason used his mechanic work as a getaway. He was able to escape reality while he worked on his car, or any car for that matter.

He wondered if Giselle would let him check out her car. He knew it most likely needed work done on it, since it didn't look to be in the best shape. If he got to it soon enough, he may be able to fix up the car into it was looking and running like it was new. Hell, he would even work on Gilbert's truck, but only if the man apologized later on for being so rude.

Mason knew Gilbert was just being a protective older brother, but the boy didn't need to be so rude about it. Mason simply wanted to know why Gilbert didn't want Giselle to date, and Gilbert practically bit his head off over it. Honestly, if Mason wasn't so hooked on Giselle, he would've given up there. He didn't though, because Giselle was worth more than anything to him...
