Waking up next to such a beautiful man was a dream come true to Giselle. She had finally healed up most of the way, meaning Mason would be leaving soon to go back to his own home, but she really didn't want him to leave. She truly wanted the man to stay by her side at all times, even if that meant he had to deal with her crazy family.

She laid there admiring his peaceful face, as he slept next to her. It was only around seven in the morning, but the light from the window casted a perfect glow on his face. She hoped the sun wouldn't wake him up, but she knew his morning routine, meaning he was up by eight every morning. She didn't mind though, since she was up by then most mornings as well.

As she laid admiring him, she watched his eyelids begin to flutter. He moved slightly, before his eyes opened and he looked at her with a sleepy smile. She carefully sat up, and leaned over to leave a kiss on his lips, ignoring their morning breath for a moment.

"Good morning, Giselle." Mason murmured, placing his hand on her hip, and squeezing it lightly.

"Morning, Mason." She replied, giving him a smile.

"How are you feeling?" He asked, pulling himself up to a sitting position.

"It doesn't hurt to sit up by myself anymore. I really only feel pain if I lay on one side too long, or do too much at one time." She said, and he smiled.

"That means you're pretty much healed, baby," He commented,"Soon, your brother will be kicking me out of the house." He added, making her frown.

"I don't want you to go. I want you to stay with me." She commented, causing him to sigh.

"I know, I don't want to go either, but we know it's inevitable," He replied,"So, once I have to go back to my place, you can start staying over there some nights with me." He said, making her smile.

"I like that idea, and some nights and can get you over here, 'cause Momma really likes you." She answered, and he nodded.

"Giselle! Mason! Breakfast is ready!" Amy called from downstairs, causing Giselle to groan.

"Our moment has been ruined." She commented, making Mason laugh.

"Don't worry, we'll have another." He replied, giving her a quick peck on the lips.

Giselle and Mason crawled out of Giselle's bed, before they headed down the stairs to get breakfast. Momma, Amy, and Arnie greeted them. Gilbert was quiet, but he was most mornings before his coffee. Ellen had already gone off to school, even though she hated the place more than anything in the world.

"How are you feeling this morning?" Amy asked, looking over at her little sister.

"Better. I can move around a bit more than I was able to yesterday. I think I'm slowly moving more and more each day." She replied, and Amy smiled.

"That means Mason will be going home soon, right?" Gilbert asked, causing Giselle to roll her eyes.

"Gilbert!" Momma scolded,"Mason is a guest, and he's been helping with your sister. You should be nicer to him." She added, and he simply ignored her and stayed quiet.

"Yeah, Gilbert, be nice!" Arnie exclaimed, laughing to himself as he repeated what Momma had told Gilbert.

"I'll be going home at the end of this week, Gilbert." Mason said, Giselle's frown only deepening.

"Well, you're welcome over here at any time, Mason." Momma told Mason, and the man smiled.

"Thank you, Mrs. Grape." Mason replied, giving the woman a smile.

Momma and Amy were suckers when it came to Mason's smile. Whenever he smiled, they seemed to agree to anything he said. Giselle knew just how that felt, and Gilbert thought it was sickening. Even Ellen seemed to have a crush on the man, though she tried to keep everyone from figuring it out.

"I'll be going back to work Monday." Giselle commented, causing Momma to frown.

"Are you sure that's not too soon, baby?" She asked, and the girl shook her head.

"I don't think so. I've been out for over a month." Giselle replied, making Momma sigh.

"I guess you're right, I just don't want you to go back and accidentally hurt yourself by overdoing anything." Momma said, causing Giselle to smile.

"I'll be careful, Momma, I promise." Giselle answered, and Momma nodded with a smile of her own.

Once they were finished eating, Giselle helped Amy bring all of the dishes to the kitchen. She also helped wash and dry them, wanting to try and do a little more without hurting herself. Gilbert and Mason moved the table back into the kitchen, before Gilbert headed out and Arnie followed behind him. Gilbert had to go to work, and though he could've left Arnie home for Mason and Giselle to deal with him, the boy still brought his little brother with him.

Gilbert was happy that his sister was feeling better, but he didn't want Mason there anymore now that she was better. Yes, he was getting along well with the man, but that didn't mean he wanted him moving in permanently either. Mason and Giselle weren't together long enough to move in together yet, at least, in Gilbert's opinion that's how it was. Momma seemed not to mind Mason being around, which irked Gilbert just a little bit more.

Momma always hated when they brought anyone around. He didn't understand why the woman was so open to Mason. Mason could easily take Giselle away from their family, and in Gilbert's mind, it'd be all Momma's fault. She's the one that let the man stay with them. If Mason and Giselle lasted, Gilbert hoped that they'd end up staying with the family. He couldn't lose his twin sister. He'd never be able to handle anything without her. She was his rock, and he needed her, even if he didn't always show it...
