Gilbert had finally decided to tell Giselle and Mason about where he was disappearing to at night. He was nervous, but he had a feeling that if anyone would understand it would be them. They always seemed to understand things that nobody else really would, which made Gilbert feel guilty for being so mean to them.

"You two should come to town with me today. I want you guys to meet someone." Gilbert told them, when he entered Giselle's room.

"Gilbert, I already met both of your friends, and to be honest, one of them creeps me out with all of his dead body talk." Giselle replied, making her brother chuckle.

"No, it's not them, I promise." He said, giving his sister a smile.

"Fine, you want to ride with us, or do you want us to meet you there?" She asked, getting up from her bed.

"Meet me there," He answered,"I've got to do something before we go to town." He added, and his sister nodded, though she felt suspicious.

"Where do you want us to meet you?" Mason asked, raising an eyebrow at Gilbert.

"The diner we usually eat at for breakfast." He said, before completely leaving the room.

Mason simply shrugged, before he too got up out of the bed. He and Giselle dressed for the day, taking a little time, so Gilbert could do whatever he needed to do before they got there. Once the couple was ready, they climbed into Mason's car and drove to town.

After they arrived in town, they drove straight to the diner and recognized Gilbert's truck. Mason held Giselle's hand as they walked into the diner. Immediately, Giselle spotted her brother, before spotting a girl sitting next to him. She turned to Mason and raised an eyebrow in question, before she and Mason walked towards the table. The couple sat down and held smiles on their faces.

"Giselle, Mason, this is Becky," Gilbert said,"Becky, this is my sister, Giselle, and her boyfriend, Mason."

"Nice to meet you guys," Becky commented,"Gilbert has told me so much about you. You're definitely more handsome than he described, and I can really see the resemblance between you and Gilbert." She told the couple, giving them a polite smile.

"I don't know what he told you, but I'll tell you now that I got all the looks between the two of us." Giselle joked, causing Becky to laugh.

"You didn't tell me your sister was funny." She scolded Gilbert, making a grin appear on Giselle's face.

"That's just 'cause he's jealous that he's not funny." Mason replied, and Becky laughed again.

"How did you two meet?" Becky asked, as she placed her chin on top of her hands, and her elbows were propped on the table.

"I was working, and he came into the drugstore all beat up. I cleaned him up, and a few days later he came back into town to pick up some things. The rest was history." Giselle said, causing Becky to smile.

"Gilbert told me you're having a baby, that's so wonderful," Becky commented,"Do you mind if I ask what you're having?"

"A girl." Mason answered, a happy smile dancing on his lips.

"Do you have names picked out?" Becky asked excitedly, but Mason shook his head.

"No, we're waiting until she's born. We want to name her what suits her best, instead of picking a name that we like now, but that won't suit her well when she comes." Giselle said, causing Becky to nod.

"I love that idea. It's so unique, but such a great thing to do." She replied, and the couple smiled at each other.

"So, I've come to realize that this is where you've been sneaking off to, or rather who you've been sneaking off with at night." Giselle commented, looking over at her brother.

"Yeah," He murmured,"I'm sorry I didn't tell you until now, I just—I wasn't sure what you'd think. After everything that happened, I didn't want any bad blood between us." He said, making Giselle sigh.

"Gilbert, what happened in the past stays in the past. As long as you don't make those mistakes again, we're good." She replied, and her brother nodded with a small smile.

"You're a good sister, Giselle. I wish I had a sister like you." Becky commented, making a smile appear on Giselle's face.

After the lunch they had together, Gilbert suggested that Becky and Giselle go off and have some girl time. They didn't really do much, other than go and get their nails done and get some ice cream, but it was still fun. They got to know each other better, and that was definitely something that Gilbert had wanted. He didn't know if he could consider himself and Becky to be a couple, but he did know he wanted her and his sister to be friends.

He and Mason hung out a little bit as well, though they really didn't do much. They just went to the part store and bought some parts for Mason's car, and a couple for Giselle's. Gilbert had even bought a couple for his truck, so Mason could fix the things he swore needed fixed the most.

He and Mason started getting along better. They weren't best friends, but they weren't at each other's necks anymore. They could sit in a room together and not want to tear the other's head off. Even if it was only a little progress, at least there was some, and that's all that really mattered. The two guys needed to get along before the baby was born.

Giselle and Becky came back shortly after, and the four sat on a bench together and talked for a while. In this moment, they were able to be normal, not like they usually were. Gilbert, Giselle, and Mason were always so busy lately, and they liked this moment of peace. They wished they could have more moments like this more often...
