The ignorance of her family had finally became too much for Mason. He had, had enough of the way they were treating Giselle. His girl deserved the world, and he be damned if she wasn't going to get it. He wanted her family to see just how horrible they were making the poor girl feel.

Mason had found out about Gilbert having a day off from work; one day that Giselle had to work. So, after Giselle had gone to work, Mason rolled up at her house. He was pissed, and anyone with eyes could see it as clear as day. He wanted answers, and he wasn't going to get them.

Once he was out of the car, he practically stomped his way up to the door. He knocked on the door, and Arnie was the one to answer. He let Mason inside with a happy smile on his face. He didn't have a clue what was about to happen after he let the man inside of his home.

Ellen and Gilbert happened to be in the kitchen with Amy when Mason entered the home. Momma was on the couch like usual, watching whatever dumb rerun was on the TV. It wasn't anything interesting, and even if it had been, Mason wasn't in the mood to give a damn.

"Mason," Amy sounded surprised,"I wasn't expecting to see you. Giselle isn't here right now. She's at work." She told Mason, and Mason nodded.

"I know." He replied, causing the girl to furrow her eyebrows.

"Then why are you here?" Ellen asked, crossing her arms.

"I'm here to talk to all of you," He retorted,"to tell you how awful of people you guys are. I have never been so disgusted to know anyone in my life. When I first met you guys, I thought you were a great family. I thought that Giselle was lucky to have you, but now, I think I'm wrong," He shook his head,"I think that I just seen a cover or mask of who you guys wanted me to think you were. I mean, I get it, Giselle went out and did something you guys weren't so happy about, but come on! You can't sit here and tell me that none of you have ever been perfect your entire damn lives!"

"Mason, you don't get it. You wouldn't. You don't a family." Gilbert retorted, making Mason scoff and smirk sarcastically.

"Yeah, I don't, but if I did, and they were anything like you, I'd have left by now," Mason spat,"She has stuck by your side, no matter how much you put her through. She's terrified that you guys are going to one day make her leave, and never want to see her again. You are ruining the poor girl, and all of you are too selfish to see it," He went silent for a second, hoping some of what he said would sink in,"You are making her feel like she is nothing, and I refuse for her to feel that way any longer. She's my everything, and I'm sorry you guys don't give a damn about her or the baby, but if she comes to me crying one more time, me talking to you civilly will be the least of your worries." He stated, glaring at everyone as he looked at them.

"We don't mean to make her feel that way." Amy murmured, tears brimming her eyes.

"Oh yeah?" Mason questioned rhetorically,"because, from what I see, you guys don't even see what all you're doing to the girl. She isn't sleeping right, and she isn't eating well. She's hurting, and in return, she could hurt the baby, and that would kill her. She just wants to be good enough for all of you. You're her family, so act like it!" He snapped, his last words causing everyone in the room to jump from the sheer volume at which he said them.

"We'll talk to her, Mason." Momma told Mason, finally feeling ashamed of herself.

"Good," He answered, giving a simple nod,"I expect apologies from each of you to her. If she ever comes to me upset like that again, it'll be hell on earth." He said, and everyone nodded.

After a moment of silence, Mason decided to leave. It was up to them now to decide what they were going to do. Mason just had to be ready to pick up the pieces if they did anything to hurt Giselle more. It would be the last time she'd ever have to deal with them again.

"Are you gonna go see Giselle, Mason?" Arnie asked, as he followed Mason outside.

"Yeah, man, I am." Mason replied, giving Arnie a nod.

"Can I come, too?" Arnie asked, playing with his fingers nervously.

"You have to ask your momma." Mason said, and Arnie nodded.

Arnie quickly ran off inside of the house to talk to his mother. Mason waited for the boy, knowing he'd tell him if he could go or not. Moments later, Arnie came skipping outside with a smile on his face.

"Momma said I can go, Mason!" Arnie exclaimed, causing Mason to give the boy a smile.

"Well, hop in," Mason motioned to the car,"We'll stop and get burgers on the way for lunch." He commented, and arnie cheered.

Arnie was truly a kind soul. He was the only person that still treated Giselle kindly. Honestly, Mason was glad that Giselle had Arnie the whole time, otherwise he knew she would've been worse. She wouldn't have been able to handle her family's cold shoulder at all.

Arnie was practically an angel sent just for Giselle. When she needed someone to sit with her, Arnie was there. He may not have understood everything that Giselle was going through, but he loved his sister, and he never wanted to leave her. She was one of his best friends, and he hated seeing her sad. He believed she should always be happy, and he always tried his best to make her smile...
