Time passed, but the Grape family didn't really talk to Giselle or Mason. Arnie still interacted with his sister, and though Gilbert was mad at her, he never told Arnie to ignore her. He couldn't hurt Arnie like that, because no one hurt Arnie, especially him. He wouldn't be able to live with himself if he did.

Giselle felt like a stranger in her own home, but she never decided to leave. She had promised her mother years ago, that she'd never disappear on the family. Even though her mother seemed to be angry and her, and wanted nothing to do with her at the moment, Giselle still wasn't going to break her promise.

Giselle's baby bump was growing each day, and it was now visible to everyone, instead of just herself. She and Mason loved feeling the baby bump, and they often fell asleep while keeping their hands on it. Mason was around more now that Giselle was pregnant, which was definitely not fun for Gilbert. Gilbert was possibly more mad at Mason than he was at Giselle.

Honestly, Giselle had never felt more alone in her life. She hated the feeling, but there wasn't too much she could do. Yes, she could move out, but then she would truly upset her family, maybe to the point where they'd never want to see her again. She loved them with all of her heart, and though they seemed to hate her right now, she knew they deep down still loved her in some way.

Giselle's boss could see the change in the girl, and not just the change that came with being pregnant. He could tell that she was drained, but more emotionally than physically. After almost two months of seeing the depressed look on the girl's face, he just couldn't take it anymore. He had given her time to settle whatever was wrong with her, but it hadn't happened, so he did what he thought was best.

He asked her what had happened and what was bothering her. At first, Giselle didn't want to go into too much detail, but once she had started telling him, she just couldn't stop what came out of her mouth. The man was like a grandfather to her, and she felt like she could trust him with any of her secrets or family drama.

When the man found out what had happened, he became angry with Giselle's family. He couldn't believe her mother, twin brother, and sisters had treated her so poorly. Giselle was a nice, caring, and generous girl. She deserved the world, yet they treated her like she was scum, at least, that's how it looked in the old man's eyes.

After talking to her boss, Giselle felt some of the weight lift off of her shoulders. She no longer felt completely weighed down with emotions and such, now it was only partially. Going back home didn't really help how she felt though, and she hated walking into the home with such a cold atmosphere.

"I don't know if they'll ever forgive me, Mason," Giselle murmured,"it's been months, and they haven't said a word to me. The only one who talks to me is Arnie, and that's because he doesn't understand the situation. He doesn't know why the others are ignoring. If he ignored me, I wouldn't be able to live there, or really live with myself." She said, tears building in her eyes.

"Why don't you come stay with me?" He offered,"I've told you this more than once since that dinner, and you still refuse to stay here longer than a couple of days." He commented, making her sigh.

"I can't leave them, if I do, I'll never see them again," She replied,"I can't lose them anymore than I already have." She added, her voice cracking with her emotions.

"Jesus, Giselle," Mason sighed,"I don't know what to do here. I just want you to be happy. I-I don't want you to feel like an outsider in your own. I want your family to treat you like you're supposed to be treated, not like the way they are now. You're so special to me, and it hurts," He motioned with his hand to his chest,"it physically hurts to see you so sad and upset over them. I just wish everything would get better."

Giselle simply laid her head against Mason's chest and cried. She was hurting because of them, and there wasn't anything Mason could do. He could feel the tears threatening to fall from his own eyes as he held her to him. He had to be strong for her though, even if it hurt like hell.

When she had finally fallen asleep, Mason allowed a few tears to slip down his cheeks. He was emotionally exhausted because of the Grape family, and he hoped that soon they'd come to their senses. He couldn't stand seeing his girlfriend cry over them anymore. It hurt him to see her cry, and every time she cried, he became more and more angry with her family.

He decided in that moment, that if they didn't fix things with Giselle soon, he'd handle it. He'd talk with them and tell them how he truly felt when it came to the way they were treating his girlfriend. He wanted them to know exactly how bad they were hurting the poor girl. She didn't deserve that amount of pain.

She deserved to smile and laugh and be happy. She deserved to celebrate this pregnancy with her family, and not feel like an outsider in her own home. She deserved all the good things that she could get out of life, but life seemed to be trying to tear her down recently. Mason just hoped that Giselle would feel better soon. If he seen her cry anymore, he probably would cry himself with her. His emotions were almost as bad as Giselle's, the only difference was his emotions turned into angry outbursts instead of simple tears...
