Third POV

The silence that fell in the room as they waited on Malina nearly suffocated Rebecca. But when Malina returned, she tried to break the ice.

"I don't know what happened before this moment with you and her, but this scene made me think of that Taylor Swift song," Rebecca tried to break the ice that weighed on her.

Every head turned to Rebecca, making her wish she had never said anything. "Now's not the time, Rebecca," Jun sighed. "I know I just," Rebecca started.

Jun walked to her sister and hugged her tight. "I know."

Rebecca was the type of person who couldn't deal with situations like the one she was currently in. Jun knew this and tried her best not to show her worry about her missing partners. Even though one wasn't official yet.

As Malian emerged into the room, Sebastian began shaking as he held his head. He started groaning in pain before he dropped to his knees.

"Sebastian, are you okay," Rebecca asked, hesitantly walking to him. "Of course, he isn't okay," she thought. A warm hand wrapped Rebecca's, pulling her into the one body she longed for.

She didn't have time to melt into Malina as Sebastian started screaming and phasing. Rebecca clung to the woman, watching Sebastian switch between his human form and his original form.

"What the hell is that," Rebecca shouted. Obe tried to scramble at the sight of Sebastian. He knew his wife was a witch and had seen things because of her, but he had never seen this.

"It's Emrie," Malina said. She knew that this was the cause of the necklace breaking. All of Emrie's power would rush to her, and since her familiar is as strong as her, it would rush to him too. It was a painful process.

At the sound of her name, Sila's and Jun's ears perked, waiting for new information. They both knew that wherever Emrie was, Phara was there too.

"Her necklace is broken," she started, then explained why Sebastian was affected by it.

"Sleepy," Malina said, letting Rebecca go.

Sleepy poked her head out of Malinda's pocket. "Yes, Malina," she said. "Put him to sleep."

Sleepy, in her Dreary form, hopped out of her pocket and landed on her feet. Her ears twitched as she approached Sebastian.

Sebastian continued to wither in pain as Sleepy grabbed his neck. She effortlessly applied pressure to his pressure point, knocking him out.

"I'll take these two to the cabin while you all look for Emrie and Phara," Sleepy said. At the snap of a finger, Sleepy, Obe, and Sebastian were gone.

Jun didn't miss the look Sila gave as she linked her. "Did we get jealous over a familiar," Sila linked, rubbing her head. "Shut up."

"I know where the girls are," Malina said, walking out of the house, Rebecca on her heels. "Does it happen to be an old napkin warehouse that's two hours out of town," Sila asked, remembering the Mirror.

"That's oddly specific, but yes."

"If you knew where they were, why did you say anything," Jun growled at her. "I didn't. The mirror upstairs showed me a warehouse," Sila snapped. Her anger was starting to get the best of her.

The longer she was away from her flames, the angrier she got, but she didn't let it show. *Crackle*

"Now is not the time," Malina deadpanned. "Sila, if you believe you know where it is, fine, but we're leaving," Malina said, noticing the burn marks left by Sila as she walked.
