Emrie's POV

When morning came, Mrs. Admas was visibly pissed.

"Hey, why is your wife so angry today," I whispered to Phara. Shrugging her shoulders, she turned to look at her. We found that she was already glaring daggers at us. Scoffing, Mrs. Admas turned towards the whiteboard and started writing on it.

"Free Day," it read, but why?

Sitting in our seats, we wondered why all of a sudden. She's never given us a free day before.

As other students filled the classroom, they were happy to see that we would have the class period off. I should have been thrilled about the free class, but I couldn't shake the feeling of a cold glare directed toward the back of my head.

Quickly turning around to see who was there, I was only met with the sight of a brick wall. Maybe I'm overthinking it since we sit at the back of the class. Turning toward Phara, I found her mumbling to herself with a confused expression.

"What's going on? What could have her so pissed off today," Phara mumbled. Slamming the marker down, Mrs. Admas walked into her office with a stack of papers.

Phara's POV

That dream can't be real. I mean, it was just a dream, right? Right?! She was upset in my dream, and here she is upset. Maybe she fought with her husband, or it's just a coincidence.

It's the end of the day, and you would expect her to have calmed down. Nope, she was still pissed. Since I had practice, I told Emrie to go without me. I was about to head to her house when a soft hand gripped my arm.

"Come with me," Mrs. Admas growled. Pulling me into her class, she shut the door and took me into her office, locking it. I looked around and noticed her office was plain. The ordinary brown desk sat in the middle of the room with two file cabinets on the wall.

To grab my attention, she hummed and motioned for me to sit on one of the two wooden chairs in front of her desk. I declined and stood behind the chairs instead. She shrugged her shoulders and sat on the edge of her desk.

"Suit yourself."

After saying that, her facial expression went cold, and she got to the point.

"I'll ask you one more time," she calmly said. "Why did you let her kiss you?"

She asked me the same thing in my dream. Was this really a coincidence? It was only a dream. She couldn't have actually known.

"What," I whispered, backing away. Maybe, I heard her wrong. Shaking my head, I looked at the ground, trying not to trip.

She pushed herself off the desk and stalked towards me as I backed away. She slammed her hand beside my head, making me yelp. "You heard me the first and second time," she calmly said, but her eyes said otherwise. She was livid.

"How did you know," I whispered.

"Don't avoid the fucking question, Phara," she said, gripping the wall. "She just wanted to verify something, that's all. I'm telling the truth," I shrieked. She sighed as she backed away and sat on her desk once again.

"Ye-Jun isn't going to like this," she sighed, rubbing her face. Ye-Jun as an Ms. Volkov Ye-Jun? What does she have to do with this?

That doesn't matter. I need to get out of here.

I turned toward the door and tried to run for it, but her words stopped me.

"Don't try my patience right now, Phara. Get over here," she sighed, looking up. Slowly walking towards her, I stood right in front of her. I was so close I could smell the relaxing smell of lavender with a hint of oats from her.
